If I had to pick Looney Tunes or Phineas and Ferb, I'd have to pick Phineas and Ferb. I never thought I'd say that. It's a great cartoon.

Some of the newer cartoons have pretty sophisticated humor

I’m fifty years old and still love them.

Favorite cartoon movies are “Home on the Range” and “Fantastic Mr. Fox “

I agree, given the amount of nihilistic cartoons like Adventure Time or Commie propaganda cartoons like, oh where do we start?, I like to see my kids watching Phineas and Ferb, there’s no subtle political message, the boys are shown as the good guys and not stupid violent bullies, they’re clever, they’re shown to be inventive, there’s a lot of fun science that is quite educational at times. The father of one of the kids is British and unlike the standard Disney cartoon he’s a decent sort not the obvious villain.

What’s not to like?
