FULL TITLE: Thug punches 80-year-old man in the face after he politely asked him to stop cursing inside an Applebee's restaurant in Florida
A man has been arrested after he punched an elderly man in the face for asking him to stop swearing inside an Applebee's restaurant in Florida.
Mikie Dominic Sawyer, 26, was saying a string of expletives at the bar in the Dunlawton Avenue Applebee's in Port Orange when 80-year-old Harry Sander approached him and asked him to stop.
According to police, Sander politely asked Sawyer to stop using the 'F' word and to stop talking so loudly about body parts.
But Sawyer told Sanders he didn't have to stop cursing if he didn't want to before punching Sanders in the face and pushing him to the ground, according to WKMG.
Police said an eyewitness backed up Sanders story and told police that he also heard Sawyer cursing loudly.
The witness said that after Sander asked Sawyer to stop, Sawyer told him, 'I don't care where you are from, whether it be Russian or Dutch, take your (expletive) to the other side of the bar,' before punching him.

We were in Georgetown Texas yesterday, and at a gas station there was a young black dude talking to his black friend and his hispanic friend. They act like that in the hopes that you will say something. Then it’s the knockout game and stomping you to death.
None of them have a care about their own futures, care even less about yours and have no issue with going to jail. Hell, they even get street cred for beating up whitey, the oppressor.
So, if you are going to say something, be armed and be able to detail why you firmly believed your life was at risk. Things like your age, their age, disparities in numbers, gender, physical fitness. Prep a jury before you have to see one.
So many people act so badly these days.

I have a walking cane I made that I think I should patent for older folks. It is a piece of one inch diameter Stainless Steel pipe, XXH wall that would come quite in handy in that situation.
In a more orderly and better mannered society not so long ago the man cursing would have been asked to leave by management. The assault would have resulted in a meeting outside with gentlemen. Protecting and respecting children & elderly members of society is an expected standard of conduct given to man from GOD.
