I need to find the Undead Thread some new digs.
Problem is, there aren’t any usable threads available.
:-(
While visiting Jerusalem, a friend of mine saw an old rabbi walking past the Wailing Wall. The interesting thing about the aged rabbi was the five young men walking behind him. They too were walking bent over, limpingjust like their rabbi. An Orthodox Jew watching them would know exactly why they were imitating their teacher. They were followers.
Throughout the history of Judaism, one of the most honored positions for a Jewish man was the privilege of becoming a follower of the local rabbi. Followers sat at the rabbis feet as he taught. They would study his words and watch how he acted and reacted to life and others. A follower would count it the highest honor to serve his rabbi in even the most menial tasks. And, because they admired their rabbi, they were determined to become like him.
When Jesus called His disciples to follow Him (Matt. 4:19), it was an invitation to be changed by Him, to become like Him, and to share His passion for those who need a Savior. The high honor of being His follower should show in our lives as well. We too have been called to catch the attention of the watching world as we talk, think, and act just like Jesusthe rabbi, the teacher, of our souls.
Such a pretty pic! I want to spend my day walking through that forest now, instead of going to work. lol *hugs*
Sounds like a PLAN! :-)
TOO TRUE!
We pray for peace of Israel, Jerusalem, and blessings on America, Heavenly Father, forgive us our sins and lead us on the path pleasing to Thee, in Jesus name, amen.
Father allow not for evil to prevail in America and on all seeking to serve Thee in truth, and faith, we love Thee LORD! Thanksgiving and gratitude fills our heart and mind evermore. Amen.

Good morning, Fiends. Happy Monday.
Looks like I’ve lost my snow graphic. Darn .... now I need to see if I can find it in any of my files.
Wishing all a beautiful day.
Great poem and graphic!
Have a beautiful Monday!
((((HUGS))))
Hi everyone, just checking in. We are having a nice 50 degree day in southern WI, but are in for low temps around 15 degrees soon. Lots of snow up north, but little expected here.
I am so glad Scott Walker won our election last week. Yea!
He would be a great presidential candidate but I don’t want to give him up, so my next candidate on the list is Ted Cruz. Go Ted!
Cheers Everyone!
That’s beautiful, Amy!
Thanks, Trisham.
I wish I had not lost my snowing graphic. I’ll have to spend some time looking for it.
It is a gif?
Great! Let’s you and me go out. Goodness isn’t this weather beautiful! And don’t even get me started on how lovely the colors of the leaves are. Oh look at that spot where the sun is shining through just so..... Let me take a pic of you standing there. Yeah that’s it. *click* This one’s a keeper. This is so fun. And I brought cookies whenever you want to pause for a break.
The snow graphic is a gif. I had Billie’s link saved with the graphic but her graphics are no longer available.
I had saved the graphic and uploaded it to Fotki. I think it got lost when Fotki made some changes. MamaBear is going to find her copy and send it to me. Also, Meg probably has a copy. At one time we could all make it snow. LOL

REMEMBERING YOU
The Sun shines
On the seashore
Listen closely
To the waves roar
The water crashes
And lightly touches your feet
You stand where
Land and sea meet
The laughter of children,
Girls and boys,
The smell of barbecue
And toddlers with toys
10 years later,
You do the same
This time with guns
And perfect aim
WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU
