The verdict is in: You can bend an iPhone 6 Plus. But unless you are really trying to do it, it probably will be fine.
That's the conclusion coming out of phone warranty provider and durability testerSquareTrade, which ran some basic bending "tests" this week on the iPhone 6 Plus at The Washington Post's request after reports circulated that the 5.5-inch phone is warping from the strain of being in people's pockets.
Apple itself on Thursday acknowledged acknowledged that it has received reports of the phone bending. But cases are "extremely rare." Out of the millions of phones sold, Apple said a total of nine customers contacted the company about a bent iPhone 6 Plus.

Apple now pays the Washington Post to write favorable articles for damage control?
Once again, like moths drawn to the light, Apple haters irresistibly flock to threads such as these to spew forth their hatred of all things (and, sometimes, people) Apple. They can’t help themselves.

Sorry mr. Apple apologist. I like my I phone 4 but the new I Phone 6 has a design flaw. Just because your stock in the company is taking a hit doesn’t mean there is no design flaw in their new phone. My 4S doesn’t bend. I’ve had it for years. The new phone bends and it has only been out for a couple of weeks. It is not built to last. Get over it.
I think Jeff likes money. He’ll promote anything he’s paid to promote.
The phones are being bent by idiots who stick them in their back pocket and sit on them.
A friend just received a 6+.
We fooled around with it and came to the same conclusion:
“You are so cool, with a bent phone to match your bent mind.”

All bent from normal use or were they in a back pocket when someone sat down? I can show you a bent screen door, but it has no value w/o the reason for it being bent - did it just bend when someone opened it or was it kicked?
The Post is now owned by one the Elite’s butt boy wonders who goes by the name of BEZOS.
Of course a House of Getty homo capo called Bezo who in turn called one of his lieutenants to get a manager of a couple of cublicle warriors at the Post to rescue Cook from the jaws of the rabid right wingers who are only interested in profits! Oh the horror!
It only took them 3 days to get the damage control narrative in place. They all work in concert to distract the public from negative issues that point back at them.
But, Apple also claimed the antenna problem on earlier iPhones was a display problem...it just did not show the right signal strength.
Multiple articles were written that people were holding their phones incorrectly.
Articles were written that the antenna problem did not exist or existed on other phones also.
Then, after months of complaints, Apple acknowledged the problem.
It may be true, though. Liberal companies use perfect materials from completely consistent suppliers. It's those conservative competitors that use trash.
Maybe the Chinese aluminum fabricator ran out of the proper aluminum and used what he had to get by for a few thousand iphones

You can’t admit that Apple put out a defective product, can you?
Steve Jobs is gone. The company is now just another big ugly faceless corporation and they are going to put out crappy stuff once in a while.
I wouldn’t buy this new phone for two reasons. It’s too big and it is too fragile. I’ll stick with my 4S until it dies and by then maybe they”ll get their crap together.
It takes a special kind of moron to shell out $600-700 for a phone, shove it in a pocket and then sit on it. Even if the cost was hidden in a two-year lease commitment so it looked like the phone was only $200, why would you be so careless with something so expensive?
