You also had Albert Einstein and Kurt Godel. No place is all bad.

I saw a photo of someone doing that. We need to bring back public flogging.

Oh lighten up, this has nothing to do with the economy. A guy was being an ass, and another guy decided to have a little fun. EVERYTHING is not about the economy.

In my neck of the woods, the bulk of the evening news is about who got shot, who is wanted, and who was denied bond. A surprising amount of it started with an argument over trivial things (like a parking space) and ended with a chalk outline on the pavement. People are on edge, just sayin.

There really are people in the world who resent nice cars and do go out of their way to park their banged up rust bucket too close and ding the door. It feels like you’re marked and the first ding comes within weeks, even with parking out in the empty part of the lot, they’ll wedge right up beside you with the two being the only vehicles in a hundred feet.

That said, taking up two spaces right at the front door was asinine. His used Vette (and he bought it used, you can see the temporary tags on it and that’s not the new model) was more important than inconveniencing people.

He deserved the derision. Maybe he’ll park his precious perfect baby out of the way next time and inconvenience himself instead of others.

I would have parked close enough that the puke would have to crawl in the passengers side

I did something similar at work about 15 yrs ago. One of our guys with a nice new Olds or something like that used to always park near the fence/gate and take up 2 spots. One night I saw that I had a chance to park inside his 2nd spot and did so.

He came back in and said, “parked kind of close, didn’t you?” I said, “I’m between the lines.” He started to say something then realized he didn’t have a decent reply and walked away. He still took up 2 spaces after that but did so in the far side of the parking lot. He has not parked by the fence/gate since.

Like the old saying goes, a few people can learn by reading, most people can learn by watching, but some just have to whiz on the electric fence for themselves.

I have an old truck and always park out in the middle of a parking lot ... cause I don’t like “squeezing in” and I don’t like “squeezing out” ... for the few extra steps I can just put it in gear and drive away...

My fishing buddy always says “Hey man there was a place right up next to the door” I tell him he is a trained Govt Monkey ... “Now put you Seatbelt on, Oh wait... you already did” by the time he gets untangled, I’m halfway to the entrance.

(Buy Old Stuff that didn’t have seatbelts and even if you add them later for 4 Wheeling ... ( and legally you DON’T HAVE TO USE THEM )

TT

PS I’m 3 for 3 at Traffic Court (I don’t wear a Helmet on any of my Cycles either) ... my vehicles do not have Airbags or Crumple Zones ... all Steel Dashboards... FU Govt

One day I went to my vet and there were no parking spaces left. There would have been one, but some clown had to take up two spaces for himself. I ended up parking sideways in front of him, and he got to wait in the lobby until I was done with my appointment. Only later did I find out it happened the same day as that xkcd comic came out.

“Only later did I find out it happened the same day as that xkcd comic came out.”

I really want to get it ... what does xkcd mean?

FM Wikipedia “xkcd, sometimes stylized as XKCD, is a webcomic created by Randall Munroe. The comic’s tagline describes it as a “Stick-figure strip featuring humour about technology, science, mathematics and relationships”[‡ 1][2] Munroe mentions on the comic’s website that the name of the comic is not an acronym but “just a word with no phonetic pronunciation”.

The subject matter of the comic varies from statements on life and love to mathematical and scientific in-jokes. Some strips feature simple humor or pop-culture references. Although it has a cast of stick figures,[3][4] the comic occasionally features landscapes, intricate mathematical patterns such as fractals (for example, strip No. 17 “What If”[‡ 2] shows an Apollonian gasket), intricate graphs and charts, or imitations of the style of other cartoonists (as during “Parody Week”).[5]

xkcd is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.5 License.[‡ 3] New comics are added three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays,[‡ 1][6] although on some occasions they have been updated every weekday.

Since July 2012, there has been a branch of xkcd called xkcd What-If, which answers unusual reader-submitted science questions in a creative and humorous, but always mathematically sound way. What If? is presented more in the format of an article than a traditional comic strip.[7][8]”

I Still don’t get it

TT

First of all, a C-6 is not a brand new Corvette. The Writer is clueless unless this happened over a year ago.

That being said, the Corvette Driver is an idiot. Not just for taking up two spaces, but by making his Car a target for anyone with Obamaenvy Disease. The guy was lucky his Car wasn’t keyed, buy I think that was only because there would have been witnesses.

I have a C7 Corvette. I make it a point never to take two spaces, just like I make it a point not to have any Anti-Brain Dead Liberal stickers on it like I did on my last Car.

Giving any envious Obama loving idiot a reason to damage my property is not on my agenda, especially having a Car that stands out in a crowd.

I would never think of damaging a Car with an “I hate Conservatives” sticker on it, but we all know that any sticker that dissed Lord Obama would immediately become a target of some compassionate Liberal type.
