Is FreeRepublic Pro Harry Reid?
Vanity | 9/17/2014 | Vanity

A very disturbing number of Freepers are openly advocating, on Free Republic threads, for the defeat of Senator Pat Roberts and other good Conservative Republicans. Greg Orman, in Kansas, is a pro abortion, anti gun, tax and spend Liberal Democrat who has given tens of thousands of dollars to Obama and Pelosi and the Democrat Party and Harry Reid. I am called an "idiot" for supporting Roberts. However, I think that those on Free Republic who support Harry Reid and Greg Orman should be ZOTTED, kicked off the site. I have had enough of there hate filled, vindictive, misguided trash.

Not arguing the point.

Elections come down to two people, the Rat and the Republican. The numbers determine who Controls the House and Senate.

If people want Harry and Nancy running Congress, don’t Vote for the Republican. It’s really simple.

That’s it. It’s them or us. You can’t change them, but you at least have a shot of changing us.

Do you see a difference between Democrat controlled California and Republican controlled Idaho?

“Orman also contributed in the past to McCaskill’s conservative GOP foe in her 2012 bid to retain her seat, Rep. Todd Akin. However, this was years before a comment from Akin about “legitimate rape” torpedoed his bid to unseat McCaskill.”

I do.
CA GOP do not have the numbers to block or prevent any democrat bill.

McConnell and his band of RINO’s have the ability NOW and have had
the ability to block liberal bills and Reid’s power.

Just because they have chosen NOT to use the power they currently have
does not mean that power is not available to them.

McConnell and his band of RINO’s have enabled Reid’s liberal bills by
voting yes on cloture votes.

Does that answer your question?

Nice false dilemma.

I don't care about numbers. I'd rather have what DeMint stated: A passionate minority fighting for freedom, than a majority maintaining the status-quo and helping to advance the Left's agenda.

Apparently not on the same wavelength at all. I’ll make it easy for you. Try to keep up.

You argue that democrats are DEMOCRATS and so is everyone else who espouses democrat ideals.

When I point out that many many many ‘Republicans’ currently in office ALSO support those same ‘ideals’, and must therefore ALSO be Democrats, you run away.

“You’re concerned about civility on an internet discussion board when America is being ripped to shreds by evil leftists and Islamic sympathizers?”

Has nothing to do with civility.

And your idea to let Democrats take over the Government doesn’t make much sense given your concerns over the country.

Your answer to America being ripped to shreds is to give the leftists and Islamist sympathizers even more power.

So you want a pro abortion gun grabbing tax raising Democrat to win?

Do you even care about legislation?

I for one have no comment on Roberts. I don’t know him, and I can’t tell you if you should vote for him or not.

In response to your insults on those who have been here so longggggggggggggg. I have a few things to say myself.

You sound like a very Gullible person with a Mob mentality that is not based on experience or wisdom. Those who have been here since the 90’s have seen your type- Heck even been your type in the past. We have seen all these Heckle type threads and been around the emotional merry-go-round. And one thing we have that you don’t have is a view of the past and the wisdom to know where these roads lead. When you have liberals disguised as republicans then you can either take the loss now. Or you can take it in multiples later. The same way the economic system in this country is going to blow soon. Because we chose to take no pain to clear the system(And run up extrem debt)- We are going experience extreme pain later.

Voting for the lessor of two evils does not bring you good if all your choices are somewhat evil. What it does do is cause a disintegrating condition in government, and it assures that your next choices will be even more evil. You won’t be able to stand up and say give us someone good or lose. After all you got who you voted for.

Yep- seen your argument for years. And the “once they are elected they will change” argument as well. Nope- You vote for those with destructive policies and that is exactly what you will get. I was suckered in more than once by those arguments and every time I regretted it. It has always been the GOP strategy of decline. You must be a Rove fan.

Your policy can simply be compared to the boiling water- frog scenario. It would have been far better if Americans could have experienced in a sudden and shocking way what this evil would do their country. Then they would have demanded different choices wile they still could feel the change. We would be in a far better position then we are right now. Right now we have a country full of people who have no ideal what they have even lost. People who will keep buying the lie that the people who claim to be able to fix the system are not the ones who have actually destroyed it.

Before you start calling those who disagree with you Fake conservatives then you might want to think a little deeper than just repeating the same old propaganda.

The GOP Senate today, right now has the power to stop Obama’s
agenda. Just because they are too weak to use that power does not
mean that power is not available to them right now.

In fact, McConnells Rino’s have enabled a Reid with their numerous
cloture votes on liberal bills.

Oh, but it does! See you injected spirituality into the debate and said I was being "coarse" for calling RINOs what they are: POS.

And your idea to let Democrats take over the Government doesn’t make much sense given your concerns over the country.

You fail to grasp that Republicans aren't advancing any type of conservative agenda of their own or stopping the Left's agenda. If they won't do anything other than to seek a "majority", in which it'll be their turn to feed at the trough and they'll be beholden to their donors rather than to the people anyway, why the Hell should I waste my time and money support them?

Your answer to America being ripped to shreds is to give the leftists and Islamist sympathizers even more power.

So my non-support of the political party that's supposed to be advancing the interests and traditions of the country rather than helping their opponents advance theirs means that I support liberalism by default?

ROFL

Norm, what on Earth is your plan?
What do you propose?

Does America have enough 100% perfect candidates to even have a candidate for every office in the land, by your standards?

And if we could replace every Democrat in Congress with someone as conservative as Pat Roberts, would that be a good thing or a bad thing?

Remember to send Harry Reid a nice little note this November congratulating him on his continued role as Senate Majority Leader.

Tell him the boys at Free Republic were pulling for him. LOL

I’m sure we can show those waskily Wepublicans what’s what.

Thanks for the thought out response.

It does confirm all I have been saying about defeatism and nihilism.

And a bit of fanciful thought in creating a straw man.

Your attitude simply would have brought us Al Gore as President when 911 happened.

You expect perfection among humans and within a human created system.

This is why you are disillusioned and fearful. And why you try to make others share your defeated spirit.

You expect too much out of politics and politicians and do not understand they are just reflections of us and our weaknesses.

You expect them to be our champions and saviors when they never will be.

It is an imperfect world and system. The only thing we can hope for are small differences for the better in our politicians.

Politics is base, dirty and impure.

You seem to naively trusting and respectful of politics and what it could do while simultaneously cynical and bitter, believing in nothing.

Your GOPe buddies threw Sharron Angle overboard.

If you statists would have supported her, there would be no Dinghy Harry right now.

But noooo...she was crazy, mumbling things about the 2nd Amendment. Oh no, can't have that. I'm sure the record scratched and faints and moans came from the GOPe cocktail party that day.

The Pro Greg Orman forces are ridiculous and Pat Roberts deserves the support of every true conservative.

I just can't believe the ignorance of people on this site. I have asked them for months for an example of Robert's doing a RINO vote. I have in all that time received nothing. Nada. Zero. The anti-Roberts conservatives are the worst of the worst. Sure in the primaries if you were under the delusion that Wolf was some sort of TEA Party guy go for it. The only thing you had against Robert's was that he was old and couldn't afford a residence in two states. Now the actual election is between a conservative and an actual liberal. Let's cut off our freaking nose to spite our face because we have so many more elections to save this Republic.

Doesn’t mater anyway, the Republic as you and I knew it is doomed. It’s no longer a matter of if, it’s a matter of when.

It’s hard to believe that nearly all of us here are actually on the same side.

But it didn't have to be this way. All the Republicans had to do is stand their ground on principle.

Why do you think there's a Tea Party? It's because conservatives are frustrated at the GOPe and are taking a different approach to get their voices heard.
