These miserable Carry Nation wannabe’s want to destroy NASCAR, destroy the NFL, destroy college football, destroy, destroy, destroy.

When the circuses are gone will bread be enough to keep the rabble quiet?

What a b*tch.

How will the country, her party or her constituents benefit from this legislation?

Many of our congress critters think that their job is nothing but a private game they’re playing.

If they were to be ultimately successful and have all forms of American football banned, they would suddenly discover that soccer is full of concussions, misogynistic players and owners, racism and all around nastiness, just like football. Gotta get rid of men.

I had no idea the NFL was tax-exempt. On what basis?

That is strange. Maybe they're a non-profit organization? (sarcasm)

The Library of Congress featured articles on Carry A. Nation a while back. There was speculation on a possible profit motive for her actions.

(Yes, her first husband drank himself to death)

Cantwell's nothing more than a liberal wrecking ball.

If Snyder does cave, the new name should be "Werowances".

Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) will introduce legislation aimed at eliminating the NFL's tax-exempt status,

The NFL is tax exempt? How come?

I don’t care about the name, but why is the NFL tax exempt anyway?

Wouldn't this be a bill of attainder, making it unconstitutional?

I’d like to see her and the other idiots in the Senate try to take away their tax-exempt status. They’ll catch more flack than ever.

Fearless prediction. The Redskins name will be gone after this season, but for a different reason. Goodell’s finished..either they fire him, or allow him to try and save face and resign. The next commission ( I hope it’s Condi) will have a lot or problems to deal with..but she won’t want to deal with this one..so..as a condition of taking the job, she’ll require that Snyder agrees to change the name..it can be packaged to give the NFL some good press, which it sure can use..

Hey Can’t Govern, why not worry about the border, the Islam threat, tax reform, and voter fraud instead of whether the Redskins should change their name.

Why do you make this prediction? Do you hope they change the name?

I like the Redskins name, and see nothing wrong with it...but it makes sense that the next commissioner won’t want to have to deal with it.it’s a no-winner...so get it off the table first, before..

I hope they never budge. However, we all know that liberal scum always rises to the top of the toilet bowl. I am sure they will try to get rid of the name “Washington” somewhere in the future.
