I never said Stewart should be indicted. I said the evidence should be looked at.
I also said the Grand Jury would either indict or not indict.

What you posted is not contrary to my past post. I simple said look at the evidence.

They did and chose not to indict. I don’t even watch NASCAR.
In many ways, this has cleared Stewart. And that is a good thing.

I have always said the evidence should be looked at.
And that the Grand Jury would indict or not indict.

It does not make any difference to me either way, as I am not a NASCAR
fan. However, I am a fan of looking at the evidence.

And because this Grand Jury reviewed the evidence and cleared him
is a great thing for Stewart. He can move on with his life and so
can the family of the other racer.

I stand by my statements, past and present.

The evidence was reviewed by not only the DA but by a grand jury.
And he was cleared. The process worked its way through.
As it should.

The only reason there was a grand jury was because the mob demanded it. The grand jury barely sat down before dismissing the charges. That means there was nothing there.

Do not agree that having a Grand Jury look at all the evidence
and clear him is good thing? That the process will actually help Stewart,
because the process cleared him.

First of all, this is the thread you meant to link. The link you provided is to the current article.

That said, no, I don't think it was anywhere near a political witch hunt.

Indicting Tom DeLay was a political witch hunt, because what he allegedly did was legal at the time that he did it.

Indicting Rick Perry was a political witch hunt, because he was rightfully exercising his powers as governor.

Both DeLay and Perry were being persecuted by Democrats for their involvement in the 2000 census reapportionment in Texas, which was ultimately resolved in 2003 against the Democrats.

Indicting and convicting Dinesh D'Souza was a political witch hunt, because most Democrat bundlers have done much worse.

Even venturing into the criminal, indicting George Zimmerman was a political witch hunt, because the Democrat base of race-baiting African-Americans were looking to make a statement.

Indicting the Duke LaCross team was a political witch hunt, because the district attorney Michael Nifong was up for reelection and needed a big win for his campaign.

Tony Stewart was not indicted. Simply bringing the case to a grand jury does not make it a political witch hunt.
