I saw small tankers for sale on Alibaba.

There is also a giant ore ship that works between Brazil and China, it is too big for the Panama Canal, so China wants to build another canal through Costa Rica.

When I was in the Navy, had a chance to see the “Mont” aka Knock Nevis, Jahre Viking and some other names, at sea.
She was built in 1979 by Sumitomo. This ULCC was 1500 ft. in length, had an 80 ft. draft and carried 565,000 DWT. of crude. She was so big she could not use the Suez or Panama canals nor could she use the English Channel. She went to the Indian ship breakers in 2009.
