What? People showing backbone? It seems Obama is unaware that his security entourage, however necessary, is a real pain in the a$$ of us mortals.

Why does a golf course have to shut down for the president. I’m not trying to pick on Obama here — for all I know, the Secret Service has insisted on this since Ike. But sheesh. Presidents go into public locations all the time. Put a magnetometer at the gate and scatter enough agents around to keep an eye on things.

Most golf courses have very large open areas that a sniper could take advantage of, right?. [Not suggesting, just stating the obvious.] Therefore, the USSS, which needs a 100% safety record on their watch, shuts down very large open spaces. If anything happened to this President, you can imagine how fast the entire detail would get thrown under the press bus. If you want to take a look at what the military calls Area Denial, check out the size of a Temporary Flight Restriction zone when he or the VP decide to fly anywhere, including the short trip to Camp David.

This NBC New York article says Obama returned to the White House on Friday night after his fundraisers. He was supposed to have stayed over in New York that night, but it looks like the little baby had a temper tantrum when he wasn't allowed to play, took his toys, and went home. He flew back to New York the next day (Saturday) for the wedding. It doesn't surprise me that the Slimes didn't report it.

LOL! Those club officials knew their very well off members weren’t going to go for closing down the courses for the riffraff for part of the Labor Day weekend.
A lot of those comments are funny stuff.
