When I order a large pizza I always tell them to please cut it into 4 slices because I don’t think I’m hungry enough to eat 8 slices.

“Easy enough calculation for us engineers, but it was always a treat to watch the arts students who worked at the pizza place try to work out how to slice a pizza into, say, 15 pieces.”

“That’s easy. Cut it into the normal eighths and then split all but one piece in half. Your bad project specification didn’t say all 15 had to be the same size. :-)”

A couple months ago, I requested that Pizza Hut cut our large pizza into twelve slices instead of their usual eight. When we got our pizza, it was indeed cut into twelve slices, but eight of them were half the size of the other four.

I hate it when you drive home so fast so your pizza will still be hot and when you get home and open the box the cheese layer has slid 1/3 of the way off.

I’m such an imp that when I worked for Domino’s I’d intentionally cut a pizza into an odd number of slices.

Why do they cut it in eight slices? they ought to cut it in six slices. I mean, who can eat eight slices of pizza?

Once I went to DQ to get an ice cream treat. Got a banana split. I started eating it and realized there was no banana in it,

On base at Burger King.

Ordered bacon cheeseburger.

Paid for bacon cheeseburger.

Receipt said “bacon cheeseburger.”

Got to workcenter and started to eat.

Realized there was no bacon on the bacon cheeseburger.

It was many years ago, but it was “seared into my mind.”

I like Ron White’s version:

“But let me tell you something, folks...you can’t fix stupid. There’s not a pill you can take, there’s not a class you can go to. Stupid is fo-evah.”

A valid phrasing, to be sure.
