Defending either the mom or the pre-school is a dicey proposition.
You must have some info that I haven’t seen to insinuate that
the mom is the moron, here. Maybe she is but is it also possible
that the pre-school is “the only game in town” and the proprietors
have become a little unresponsive and arrogant? I don’t know
one way or the other but you seem to know enough to put mom
in the ding-bat box. Just maybe it is both sides. If I were running
the pre-school I would arrange a face-to-face with mom and work
things out. When all things were said and done I would point to
the fact that mom continued to leave her kid in my school even
though she complained. Instead, they chose the hard-nosed
road. Although they have had good reasons to do what they did
they may pay a price with potential customers.
The funny thing is that in my own life I completely identify with
the pre-school. I work for a private residential Tx facility for
Severely Emotionally Disturbed teen boys. Many of our clients
are placed by CPS or the courts but some are private placements
involving mom and/or dad. I have dealt with whack job parents
but I must say that the parents are not always wrong.
Oh c'mon. Only one pre-school in the entire Houston area? Highly doubt that.
