My brother and I were raised fatherless.(He died when we were still preschoolers.) We did just fine. regardless of the circumstances (my father died when I was 17 and had a younger brother) you are almost always better off with two parents. I guess I turned out alright too, but I certainly envied my friends who still had their dads.

it can blind, temporarily, or disorient the pilot...very dangerous....and illegal. Absolutely ridiculous. As if a kid (or terrorist) with a pen laser is going to hit the eye of a pilot in a jet traveling 500 mph at several thousand feet

bsolutely ridiculous. As if a kid (or terrorist) with a pen laser is going to hit the eye of a pilot in a jet traveling 500 mph at several thousand feet not ridiculous at all, happens all the time....besides, this story concerned a helicoptor pilot, very low, very slow.....and it is still illegal and DANGEROUS...
