Anyone leaving a laptop on the stove deserves what they get.

Is your cat all right after setting herself on fire on your stove? How on earth did she do THAT?

She survived just fine, but it was almost 35 years ago.

I had a burner (gas stove) on, intending to do something and she jumped up on the counter to see what, and in the course of swishing her tail around dropped it into the flame and it came up with the tip on fire (she was a long-haired white angora type). After a couple seconds she looked around trying to figure out what the smell was, flicked her tail again and set her side on fire.

At that point I had visions of her running behind the sofa in a panic and setting the whole house on fire, so I grabbed her and beat the flames out. She was brown in a couple places but it grew out.

She died in 1980 of FIL before anyone knew what that was. I’m sure she’ll be waiting at the bridge for me when my time comes.
