An Ohio woman who is licensed to carry a gun but had only recently started carrying one for protection put it to good use earlier this week.

Dinah Burns was out walking her dog, Gracie, on a path near an elementary school in Lancaster on Monday when two men approached her with a baseball bat and threatened to abduct her.

Something sounds wrong with this. First, how odd that she refers to her attackers as “gentlemen”. Second, in that she described them as both white, but with little other description. Lancaster is 96% white, with just trace amounts of other races. It is also a university town.

This leads me to suspect one of two things: either she fabricated the whole thing; or that the men were not planning to rob or sexually assault her, but to murder her.
