Thank you. I was only joking about how some young men in the Ozarks might almost try the Falls with a canoe...but not quite. And as much beer as some of them consume, Canadian beer would probably be the end of them. ;-)

Go to DiCammlio’s Bakery on the US side, at a minimum buy several loafs of bread.
Go to Goat Island, the Whirlpool, Devils Hole. Try to get to Niagara on the Lake.
Been there a bunch of times as one of my closest friends is in Toronto and I went to grad school upstate New York. So, here goes:
1. Bring passports and stay on the Canadian side. Much more to do. A lot of Niagara Falls, NY is dumpy. Unless they like to gamble, in which case there’s the big native casino.
2. Maid of the Mist is a must-do.
3. Cave of the Winds on the American side. Goat Island is a nice place to spend some time as well.
4. Journey behind the falls on the Canadian.
5. Canadian side has a botanical garden and butterfly exhibit which are great.
7. Canadian side also has “The Street of Fun at the Falls” which is kinda tacky but if they want to do touristy stuff like that, it’s fun in a cheeseball way.
8. Niagara Wine Trail
9. Niagara-on-the-Lake is beautiful and home to the Shaw Festival, which does great theatre. I belive they’re doing Cabaret now.
10. Niagara Falls probably doesn’t support a 4-day stay but Toronto is two hours away by train or car. Nice city although the area near Eaton Centre is rough now (it used to be entirely lovely but well, Canada’s been developing some of the same problems we have in the US)
11. If they have to stay on the US side for some reason, there’s not enough to do for 4 days at all and they should probably shorten the trip.
