In an interview with Money and Markets podcaster Charles Goyette posted a week ago, former Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) discussed some of the undisclosed information by the U.S. government surrounding the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
In that discussion, Paul argued the U.S. government may have had a hint something along the lines the 9/11 attacks could occur, but had gone out of its way after the fact to cover up its knowledge.
“I believe that if we ever get the full truth, we’ll find out that our government had it in the records exactly what the plans were, or at least close to it,” Paul said. “You already mentioned that [the U.S. government] had been warned that something was going to happen.”

Ron Paul is as annoying as Dan Rather. They should both shut up, but they can’t because they suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder.
It’s not-quite-sane people like this that make it difficult whenever a real conspiracy is revealed for that conspiracy to get any traction.

He is 100% correct. The FBI had an ex Chechen fighter as informant who told his FBI handler about the plot by the 2 hijackers living in an apt. he arranged. It was forwarded to wash dc hq and nothing was done. These are the same 2 that the CIA handed off to the FBI as know Al Queda with the additional info that they were actively engaged in a terror attack plot involving hijacking planes. They had been tracked after attending an al queda planning meeting in the far east.
There was a high level of buzz on alqueda websites and they knew attack was imminent... Declassify the docs and let us have the TRUTH....
Most of the information about 9/11 came from two very reliable sources. The Media and the Government. Which i am sure that we all take their word as the absolute truth. I am glad to see most people defending them without question.

It was called project Bojinko and Clinton still couldn’t bring himself to eliminate Bin Ladin, what was Bill thinking on 9/11?
I think it came down to the fact that they were able to remember that Clinton was briefed on something that was or could have been considered credible information on what became the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001.
At worst, Clinton was warned and didn't bother putting it on a watch list for a future administration.
At best, Clinton had Burglar do it for nothing more than it could be a dust speck on his "legacy".
Berger should be doing 25-to-life.
Bush failed the country by not fully holding people like Berger to account. It just encourages people to thumb their noses at the law.
