Since the adulterated version of the "There are No Spies" by Bill Granger is being released Thursday as movie with Pierce Brosnan and the very attractive Olga Kurylenko , the republishing of the November Man series in paperback has become available through eBooks on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
I have started to read "There are No Spies". It is a combination of Ian Fleming and Donald Hamilton. It is closer to tone and tenor to Donald Hamilton.
The movie is getting beaten up pretty badly. It is a shamed because I really thought Brosnan did a decent job as James Bond despite horrible scripts.
His best role as a "spy" was as a Russian in the 1987 movie "The Fourth Protocol" by Frederick Forsyth. The 1984 novel, ironically, turned out to be a lot like the 1983 James Bond movie "Octopussy".
If you want an adventure to read this weekend, check a novel by Bill Granger.

I never been a fan of John le Carré, maybe because I thought his screen versions were boring.
It aint like James Bond.
It is a painfully slow and dangerous business.
I love that Le Carre gets it right in saying the Garbageman, the Postman and the Vicar are pivotal..
They know everything about everything.

November Man stories are great entertainment.
