Mexican President Calls for Immigration Reform in USA: 'A Matter of Justice'
CNS News ^ | 08/26/2014 | BRIAN MELLEY

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Mexico's president spoke of the need for U.S. immigration reform on a two-day visit to immigrant-friendly California, saying those who reject diversity and inclusion will ultimately be proven wrong.

"We want to be a factor of cohesion, not division, with full respect for the sovereignty of the United States," President Enrique Pena Nieto said Monday. "This, at the end, is about — and only about — a matter of justice for those who contribute so much to the development of the American society."

Hispanics have now become a force to be reckoned with in California. They now make up the largest of any racial or ethnic group in the state, though their voter registration numbers still lag behind whites.

"There are still states that have not evolved so much as California, that still skimp on recognition and, even worse, the rights of immigrants," he said. "Those who still believe and bet for the exclusion and discrimination or the rejection of diversity ... I only have one thing to say: the future, and a very near future, will demonstrate your ethical mistake. Time will show we're right."

Fine with me.
YOU FIRST.

There should be NO UNILATERAL reform. They reform then we reform ... or no deal.

And I’m talking the whole enchilada too. Mexico has to let in any American any time, any place ... give them free schooling, social welfare, jobs, the right to buy property, own a business etc in Mexico.

This should all be set forth in international treaties and if one side breaks the treaty ... war.

I am not kidding.

"We want to be a factor of cohesion, not division, with full respect for the sovereignty of the United States," President Enrique Pena Nieto...

Hey, prez...kiss my ass.

Can I come to your country and enroll in all of your welfare support programs and work under the table and get health care and...and on and on?

I didn't think so.

Get the hell out of the US.

I am fed up with all this CR@P. You want immigration reform why not put the military on patrol from Brownsville to San Diego with orders to warn once ANYONE crossing the boarder into US at other than authorized boarding crossing be treated as an invading force. Give similar orders to Coasties.

And what percentage of immigrants does Mexico deport? Somewhere in the mid 90s, right?

Hypocrite.

We should invade Mexico and confiscate their natural resources for our compensation.

I agree, Mexicans should stop getting preferential treatment just because they live next door.

We should treat our illegal squatters the way Mexico treats theirs.

In California, economic and social conditions decline as “Hispanic” populations and leadership increases. This is because their world view is big government statist, or strong-man statist. Not at all the “natural conservatives” that the Bushes and Roves fantasize about. Hispanic Catholicism is leftist also.

Obama aides have discussed a range of options that could provide legal protections and work permits to a significant portion of the nation’s more than 11 million undocumented residents, said Democratic lawmakers and immigrant advocates who have met recently with White House officials. Ideas under consideration could include temporary relief for law-abiding undocumented immigrants who are closely related to U.S. citizens or those who have lived in the country a certain number of years — a population that advocates say could reach as high as 5 million.

They would be legalized, given work permits and SSNs, and be allowed to travel freely in and out of the country.

“This is orchestrated”

Interesting theory.

We’ll find out soon.

I’m sure Republican politicians will protest vigorously.

BEFORE the election.

Then, total surrender.

AFTER the election.

Slightly off topic.....

I was just reading about the “diversity” of Mexico.

The have 400,000 Lebanese immigrants.

Hezbollah terrorists can get visas to visit their Lebanese “relatives,” then just walk across the border.

And probably get a Green Card and US Passport!

The turnabout to this is obvious, yet not about Mexican hypocrisy about illegal aliens entering their country. It is why Mexico is such a crappy place to live and do business.

About a dozen extremely wealthy families control almost all the wealth in Mexico. With much of the rest of Mexico living in grinding poverty. And the wealthy families are unwilling to help improve the lives of their countrymen with decent paying jobs, because they *prefer* poverty among others.

So, though it strongly goes against conservatism here, in the US, in Mexico, were the government to institute a profound “wealth tax” on these dozen families, mostly to knock them down a bunch of pegs, then use the money to exclusively lower the price of commodities, and consumer goods; then institute tough employment regulations to drive up wages and salaries, it would not only eliminate a huge amount of poverty, but could even “reverse the flow” of illegal aliens, drawing them to go home to Mexico *from* the US.

Of course such policies in the US would be disastrous to our economy and our people, because we do not have such stupid inequality in the first place. Our billionaires do not care one whit if other people become billionaires, multimillionaires, millionaires, or just enrich themselves and improve their lives. Bill Gates has done this a lot and it hasn’t diminished his life one bit.

Multi-billionaire Carlos Slim in Mexico has probably not ever done that even once, except for family members. So if he wants to hoard his loot just to prevent success in others, there is no reason that the others should respect that.
