In an incident eerily similar to an eyeglass-store commercial, an 88-year-old woman was attacked Sunday night by a raccoon she accidentally let into her home and then tried to pet, thinking it was her cat, according to police...

That IS the cutest commercial. I can’t quite make out what the woman says at the end of the commercial when she turns off the light in her bed. Anyone know?

Raccoons can be rabid. So dangerous.

Once, one got in my garage and created a real mess until he could be removed.

My former wife and I once got to talking with an Irish lady in the cat food aisle in the supermarket (I forget what started the conversation.) Anyway, she told us about the time she had an unwelcome visitor enter her home through the cat door.

I still remember the sound of her high, heavily accented voice when she exclaimed: “IT WAS A FOOKIN’ SKOONK! A FOOKIN’ SKOONK!”

We still laugh about it decades later.

Wasn’t there a commercial with a woman who did exactly that?

Yes, and the 'coon ends up parked on the bed beside her.

We have an Irish lady in the neighborhood whose dog stole our banty rooster and brought him into her kitchen.

Yes, the Irish accent talking about the “leetle beety rooster, crohin’ in the keetchin” was pretty funny.

Reminds me of the census taker, walking through Chinatown.
After one man answered the door, he asked, “are you Foo King?”.

The man answered, “no, we just watching television”.

We have one that lives under our porch. We had a guy set a trap for it last night, the bait being cat food. Went outside this morning and found a cat in it.
