It’s great grass if you sell lawn services, lawn chemicals, or sod. Feels and looks horrible even on those 2 days days a year it’s healthy.

It ranges from g rowing like mad when it’d raining frequently to dying if you miss a few days of rain.

Then there’s the bugs that love to eat it.

I used to go pulling all the Bahia up but now, screw it. That crap grows no matter what. At least it isn’t brown.

Was at the Catalina shuttle in San Pedro a couple of weeks back and had to look twice at the grass. Was AstroTurf but the new stuff looks real. I wouldn’t mind it at all.

“Seriously? If it is a cold winter-again-that St. Augustine is going to freeze and croak, and you’ll be out a lot of money. Unless you live near the coast where it rains, may I suggest a lawn of native buffalo grass or sahara Bermuda?”

I am south of Austin. Not too concerned with frost.

Me the same. I mow my own

We have some Hispanic neighbors and Sandra has no problem showing her dislike for illegals. She had to "learn Spanish" to get the head teller job at the local bank.

I work at the local hardware store and the only words I know are "No comprende" and "speak English" when trying to communicate with them.

Who would rather manicure their lawn than go fishing?

My neighbor trips the spare blades of grass his mower misses with a pair of scissors. He also puts those little orange flags out to mark the lot line. His neighbors mowing service was cutting a couple inches of his grass and he didn’t like it.

WOW! Talk about “get a life”. That’s the kind of behavior that makes you hope he doesn’t own any firearms.
