Kind of hard to ski at Sandia unless you can do it on dirt.
Sometimes there’s enough snow on the east side.
basically you try to curl up and tuck in and roll in the direction of the fall. momentum taken out by your rolling. when slow enough place arms and legs out wide and slap the ground on the final -hopefully - roll.
first few lessons of judo are learning how to fall safely.
People just dont survive falls from a height like that! Hell; even half that!!! Its my understanding that anything over two stories, and youre breaking bones and or dead!

Right. ...However, a North Texas teenage girl and her dad did a skydive last year (her first) and her chute didn’t open properly. She was in free fall for about 3500 feet. Broke lots of bones and required surgeries, but is doing fine now. ...Really a miracle that she survived. I would have hated being her father above her just watching her going down and unable to do anything to help.
How did she survive?
