Just asking. I am not sure if we can pick up the pieces and reconstitute a successful, prosperous country after the last 5+ years.
If we believe this country became what it is since Obama became the president we have no hope.
While Obama is the worst president in history he would not have became president if every thing had of been even half way ok.
There is always hope. But as others have said, it’s the electorate who would choose leaders such as Obama which concerns me. How to return this vast, misguided mob to some semblance of sane morality?
As far as where to go to find lost liberty, I’ll defer to our 40th president:

think we probably can survive obama, but a democracy is only as good as its people, so what we probably can’t suvriver is the idiots who elected this moron, twice.
American voters will only vote the rest of us into poverty, why would they change the way they vote as long as they are living the life of Reilly?

I read a comment somewhere, and I thought it was spot-on, and I wrote it down. Unfortunately, I do not have the name of the author. However, here is what he — or she — wrote:

I have to drive through Manassas battlefield to visit my sister and past Chancellorsville and Wilderness to visit my daughter.
Every time I pass them I wonder how long they will be preserved.
The invaders don’t care about these battlefields. I think they will pave them over within 50 years.

The real question is can we survive the Progressives? Unless we can throw these people out of the US govt beauracracy it does not matter who becomes President.
The number one objective for all conservatives should be the dismantling of these rogue agencies who are ruling us by regulation. EPA, Dept of Energy, Dept of Educ, HUD, DHS, HHS, Dept of the Interior. Get them under control and about 75% smaller or totally shut down and then we can get back to the Constitutional Republic.
Yes. When Bush won in 2004, I remember reading a story about the meeting at the State Dept. The employees were told that Bush was again the president and he deserved their allegiance. One muttered and Kerry still deserves our allegiance, too’. If we are able to figure out a way to keep the Left from stealing the next Prsidential election, we will still have to contend with the vermin that infests every Agency in our Government. Hopefull a complete housecleaning, like Clinton did but Bush did not, will help get our country back on the track to success and prosperity.
