Best Cartoon Ever?

Posted on 08/19/2014 7:48:52 PM PDT by MNDude

Most of us probably don't watch as many cartoons as when were kids, but there's a few that we still love.

What is your favorite cartoon(s) of all time?

Yes, I loved that back in 1980. I don’t think you can buy that on DVD or download though.

I think I started watching it in 1978, it was the best heh. I do not know if it is available either.

I am surprised that another has watched that. I have yet to meet anyone around my age that has (38).

Quick Draw McGraw as “El Kabong” had me in stitches as a kid and still does now as a grown up kid.

I still love Scooby Doo.

I love the old Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry and the old Disney cartoons especially Pluto and Donald Duck.

Oh and I fondly remember the 1980’s Saturday morning cartoons.

I recall seeing Starblazers on one of the then-”new” UHF television channels in the mid-’70s. They’d flip back and forth between that show and Speed Racer in the same time slot every three months or so.

Although this one seems to be scrubbed from YouTube, I found it on DailyMotion.

Not the greatest hi res version, but it will do.

Politically incorrect to the max, but still my favorite (behind anything from Jay Ward)...

Enjoy.

The Fleischer Popeyes were fantastic.

There were three classic two-reelers.

Salami, salami, baloney...

I want the sheet music. It’s supposed to be near impossible for the trombonists to play.

So good, so Good.

Tex Avery was AMAZING:

My late dad loved Michigan J. Frog and had a statue of him on his bookshelf.

Classic, still funny. Yeah, they don't make 'em like they used to.
