Question: Why Am I Often Unable To Post In Font Size Larger Than "4"?

I've had this problem for quite some time but have never bothered to find out why. I occasionally try to post a line or two in font sizes larger than 4, but I have found I am unable to do so. Is there any specific reason for this? Is there any way I can post in font sizes larger than "4" on a regular basis?

Any help or assistance on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Aha!! Another free-loader caught red handed! Pay up and Jim Rob will enable your larger font feature. $100 gets you Size 6. $500 gets you Size 8.

As I don’t think anyone could read your posts at 4 pt. size, I would guess your concern isn’t what you think it is.

You are posting at 10+ pt. to me.

Maybe your zoom setting on your browser is zoomed out. Try holding down control and using your mouse wheel next time to see if that helps.

And its not "font" size, it is "typeface" size. Times New Roman, for example, is a typeface, Times New Roman Italics , a derivative of a typeface, is a font. Times New Roman bold is also a font. But Times New Roman (or whatever) is a typeface, not a font.

Browser Zooming.

Good suggestion. To assure more control...

CTRL and the + sign will ZOOM IN
CTRL and the - sign will ZOOM OUT
CTRL and 0 will reset browser to NORMAL.

Try CTRL and 0 to get back to normal, then see how things appear for you.

No. Which means either his browser zoom is not set to normal, or his browser settings for typeface size (under TOOLS/OPTIONS in FF, under TOOL ICON, Settings in Chrome) are set to 4.

The question I would need to know to help is .. does everyone else's posts seem the right size on your screen, but your posts appear smaller ? (if true, then you are either on acid or your computer is really messed up) If you are using HTML in your post and specify 'font size=xx' maybe you aren't putting the value for 'xx' in properly. Hope some of this helps.

Where "x" = 1 to who knows, but 1-8 is above, and the {} are replaced by <>..

All right. So,I guess, none of this FR-iends business, That’s capital FR-iends really means anything. Might as well just drop the ‘R’ altogether. Okay I didn’t care at all when they disabled the blink preference, I mean it was annoying as heck. Really, how important is it being able to post my comments in sizes greater than 4, anyway? Okay. I rescind the question.
