He held the Senate seat currently occupied by Thad Cochran.

Kind of looks like Robin Williams.

My thought as well. A movie about his ancestor, with Robin in the leading role, could have been an interesting tragicomedy.

I’m surprised that information didn’t come out while he was alive... Interesting.

Prayers for his family and loved ones... he was too young to die - at any age...

The difference is that this guy died of a heart attack while sitting in a rocking chair in front of his fireplace. A much better way to go.

Am taking bets on when the first crass exploitation book or program comes out bearing the title, “Robin Williams: The Day the Laughter Died.”

He was also the co-star of the hit vaudville show
McLaurin and Mindy

As a deep-south democrat, McLaurin would sit on his head and proclaim how great the president of Princeton University was.

“Wilson for POTUS! Nanoo nanoo!” McLaurin would shout for no reason, as the audience roared with laughter.

He’d be more of a William Jennings Bryan man.

I love those old-fashioned names from the 19th Century. Wonder if they’ll ever make a comeback.
