Where’s the Kaboom!?
There is supposed to be an Earth-shattering Kaboom!
When I was in High School Israel was offering a $100 a month to foreigners that would man their less hot outposts, the job was open to tourists and such, I regret that my plan to get there never worked out, my partner that I talked into going with me died in a motorcycle accident, and the youthful dream faded away because of all the realities of having an idea here, and putting it into action, across the world.
Still, it was a pretty quirky offer, and probably one long forgotten by the historians.
Looks like the Israelis hit a stash of rockets or some such in the distance. Either that or they’re wearing out one area. I can still hear distant thumps and there’s been a lot of smoke billowing up the past several minutes.

Contrary to what Hildabeast said, there seems to be plenty of open land in Gaza from which to launch missiles. Of course that is a none starter, and another idiotic statement on a long list she will regret having said.
Yep, but the MSM won’t show all that open land. CNN was just showing that black cloud of smoke but the camera shot was much closer than we just had.
The Palis won’t fire from outside the cities, though. No collateral damage out there. They only fire from schools and hospitals and such.
My son was an exchange student in Israel. He joined the Youth Army and trained right with the regular troops. He and 5 others were sent to the border to mend fences. They stayed right in the Army camp with the troops.
The day after the 6 of them went back to school, that area was attacked. The leader at that station was called “pops.”
He was all of 24 years old.
Everyone they knew stationed there was killed. He said that the area was so peaceful a serene, that he found it so hard to believe that such evil could happen there.
It affected him so profoundly that he joined the US army and trained as a medic. CIA and NSA tried to get him to join the ranks as a spook. He turned them down.
Hamas still launching rockets today.
Surgically take out the two blocks surrounding the hospital. Then bounce the rubble.
Then go in and take out leadership.

I was just thinking about the location of Gaza and when the LORD said that the consequences of not wiping them out when they went into the Promised Land would be that they would become a thorn in their side, He was right as always.

Considering the strategic necessity of destroying the elaborate tunnels deep into Israeli territory, one cannot help but wonder how much “innocent” civilian life in Muslim territory might have been spared if Israel had been allowed to buy the Bunker Buster armament it had sought from American manufacturers, a purchase disallowed by the present administration.
