Just heard it. Don’t know where you are....but a big storm coming in the Sanger area.
I’m no where near that area but there seems to be a lot of thunder to the north of me. In July, very close to August, no less!!
Could be a stormy night. Since storms put me to sleep...I think I’ll go ahead a lay down. :)

Most of the alerts I get involve Señora (insert mexican name here) reporting her kids are missing and are on their way back to Mexico with her estranged husband in a 90’s model whatever.

Having worked in broadcasting, and knowing the EAS from lots of study...it’s possible but very unlikely.
I know they’ve screwed up on a national level (the EBS false alarm of 1967) and the state level (failure of the national EAS Test in 2011 in some states, i.e.; Oregon). Never heard of a local mistake.
