COLUMBUS, Ohio - Hair coloring and facial treatments like Botox help many people look and feel younger, but increasingly, more men are seeking a way to feel younger. In record numbers, they're seeking a way boost to the male hormone testosterone.

We've seen the ads that warn of low testosterone, the male hormone that builds muscle, controls fat, and improves sex drive. They show a man concerned about less energy, moodiness and a low sex drive.

Urologist Dr. Gregory Lowe at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center says he has seen patients come in asking for the hormone even without documented low testosterone levels.

Many of them are receiving it, too. Online ads offer a dizzying number of products. There are over-the-counter supplements at health stores, as well hormone injections from doctors or prescription gels.

I would think it would completely eliminate your bodies own capacity to produce testosterone, and that you would become permanently dependent on it.

About 25 years ago a friend told me about a doctor that offered a goat gland transplant to treat male performance problems. He had a radio broadcast on the Mexican border that transmitted quite far into the U.S.

He was a charlatan, but not many patients were willing to call him out because they weren’t willing to publicly admit they went to him for treatment. I just did a quick search, and found this link

You’d think that people could figure out that animal parts don’t belong in humans.

"My husband swears that Merlot works very well, if he can get me to drink it. ;)"

Now that is funny right there. Thanks for making me smile.

Blood pH is between 7.35-7.45

Who has 6.8?

“If your blood is above 6.8 cancer cannot survive in your body.”

Thanks for that... I did a Google search but will look more. Could it be that simple?

Slight correction needed: as measured by early morning urine.

“I’m 19 years “over 50” and I don’t.”
Do a Google search on prostate cancer over 60. You may be surprised...

You have enough blood in your morning urine to give a valid pH test?

Funny thing about prostate cancer in particular:

Prostate cancer therapy will often kill in 5 years or so, but the cancer takes 25-30 years to do it, as long as the prostate is not disturbed surgically.

Biopsies often result in metastasis, and death by cachexia.

Urine ph is always proportional to blood ph in the early morning. But not after eating a meal.

The over 50 problem is usually bacterial inflammation of the bladder, not prostate.

It can be cleared by drinking juniper berry tea. We use it for our male cat when he gets plugged up.

no sheet...there is a reason these snake-oil salesman spend a ton of cash for those stupid commercials. The response to “They can’t be serious...” is...”oh yeah...they are...low information voters do a lot more than vote!”
