White House Fears Impeachment If Obama Unilaterally Grants Amnesty
Breitbart ^ | July 25 2014 | John Nolte

As is always the case with anything involving former-Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, our unbiased, objective, not-at-all-liberal media couldn't wait to mock her impeachment case against President Obama -- but not everyone is laughing. According to reporting from The Hill, The White House fears exactly that should the president take executive action to grant amnesty to thousands of illegals.

I think the administration knows that will never happen, it’s simply baiting the right... and generate lib talking points

Understand your point, but Obama’s strategy is not risk free. I lot of people are mad about what is happening on the Southern border and, by granting amnesty, Obama is basically farting in their face. It could result in a huge Republican wave in Nov if they hold their fire. I think pursuing the lawsuit is a good idea. However, if they get a solid House and Senate majority next Nov, then impeachment should go forward. But getting 2/3 of the Senate to vote for impeachment will be next to impossible. But a majority vote for impeachment would sent a very strong message to the courts and the military.

Actually of he tries to give amnesty to his favorite Alinsky crisis then I believe you will continue to see his numbers plummet and Americans demanding that he be impeached. Folks see this as a direct attack on their livelihoods.

obama knows how much impeachment hurt Bill Clinton (NOT) ... and he doesn’t worry about it at all, it would be a legacy building badge of honor to him.

Stacking the deck for the future, as you point out, is his goal. And that tactic fits nicely with his Cloward-Piven and Allinsky training.

Other than flying around on AF 1 and basking in the worship of Hollywood liberals at the fund raisers in their beautiful homes I think the sob would love to resign.

I think he basically hates the job, hates that the job more or less forces him to maintain the charade of a marriage to Moose and he’s the complete narcissist so any thought about his two daughters future under his dwindling legacy has never entered his mind either.

Plus, seriously, if he is homosexual being out of the WH will give him lots more time to scratch that itch!

If he truly fear impeachment he wouldn’t have abused his power all this time. This isn’t the first time

Where are the needed 60 senators going to come from to convict. Impeachment proceedings are a waste of time.

Amnesty is being perverted by the Democrats. In order for the POTUS to give amnesty
they must be first charged with a crime. But at the same time the Dems are saying
that illegals are not criminals, yet they are. But are not being charged with any crimes
of being in the USA illegally.

They are perverting and complicating our system of justice yet the first step
of any Amnesty has yet to be taken, charges for the crime. I believe that should
those illegals first be charged with a crime that the American public would not
be so inclined to support any "amnesty" for criminals since we are held
to laws and standards that amnesty would not apply in our wildest dreams.
And actually being charged with a crime changes the outlook from Americans.

If this were a white Republican in the white house, dingy hairy and upchuck schumer would be in front of a camera and microphone every day demanding Boehner start impeachment hearings.

Hank Johnson would have flown to Guam and made sure it capsizes, Shelia Jackson-Lee would have been to Mars to bring back the US Flag and taken Maxine waters along for the ride.

Barry has two things going for him, His skin color and Joe Bite me. I was talking to my neighbor yesterday and he said a Biden presidency is looking better to him every day.

Boehner wants amnesty. So does most of Congress. Who would impeach him? It wouldn’t go anywhere.

White House Welcomes Impeachment.

The "Constitutional Lawyer" in the White House has found a flaw in the Constitution and is exploiting it. The only remedy for a runaway dictatorial president is Impeachment. Without control of 67 votes that is not possible. Obama knows it and will continue his extra constitutional adventures until that one day when he no longer feels secure. This is fact. Until enough members of his own party lose their jobs he will press on with his remaking of America into a Marxist state.

Now BO has a way out of the mess at the border that blew up in his face.

He can back away from all the insanity AND he can blame those evil Republicans who were threatening to impeach him.

I just wonder how it will all play out.

How dare these little people demand Congress do it's job? Don't the little people know the media will say bad things about republicans if Congress does it's job? Don't the little people know this is an election year? How dare the little people demand the Law be adhered to?

Look at all the surrender monkeys on this thread saying exactly what I just sarcastically listed. Listen to Governor Palin.

Impeachment is a political process....not a legal process. As such, politically speaking, impeachment is not possible....unless and until the public changes their mood.

From a legal standpoint, Obama has certainly over-stepped his constitutional constraints....no doubt about that. The Boehner lawsuit attempts to give Congress a more palatable and dignified ‘legal’ tool to fight against any Presidents lawlessness....not just Obama’s.

At first thought, this lawsuit seems silly because Congress has traditional tools like the power of the purse and impeachment to access. So, why would the Congress now need access to a legal mechanism? While this argumet is strong in my opinion, just imagine if the courts don’t take this case. Through their silence, the courts would basically be giving any US President the right to do whatever he/she wants (constitution be damned) as long as there is no public (read:political) backlash. As we all know, many popular things are also tyrannical, excessive, and UN-constitutional.

I’m just some dude out here, but it just doesn’t seem to me the courts want to send the executive Branch the message that it can: Do what it wants...congress be damned....as long as its politically palatable to the masses. My bet is that this case will be heard and that ultimately Obama will at least be mildly flogged with a wet-noodle for some of his lawlessness. The ultimate result of the case will serve as a warning to future presidents that the courts are watching.

We’ll see.

Forget about impeaching Precious. IMPEACH ERIC HOLDER. That is do-able, plenty of stuff to work with. He's not "beloved"--he's an established hater and corrupt.

And his wife is an abortionist, for crying out loud! They are part-owners of an abortion clinic in Atlanta!

So? People break the law all the time. I see it in my own family. Unless someone more powerful stops them, they continue.

True. Nor does anyone outside of Congress have the ability to create Law; yet, how many regulations have the force of Law, how many edicts from the bench?

As if the cabal in D.C. would give up their cushy gig to do their JOB...What better indication that the recent MS battle where D.C. threw their $$/’power’ behind an senile incumbent vs. having new ‘blood/fire-in-the-belly’??
