Mr. GG2 got jumped by 5 German Shepherds on a rural roadway one day had to shoot at least 2 of them. They came running down off a farm.

Dogs in packs can be very dangerous no matter what breed. When a pack consists of the larger, more aggressive breeds there is sure a good chance of a lethal outcome. Even some smaller breeds would be bad news in some cases. A pack of Jack Russells would give me pause. If they ever got you down you’d be a goner.

I always jog with either a stun gun or .38 revolver.I don't jog, but I am always armed with a .38 revolver when I walk my dog. Had to shoot a pit bull once when it had my dog by the nape of the neck.

Mr. GG2 got jumped by 5 German Shepherds on a rural roadway one day had to shoot at least 2 of them. They came running down off a farm. You never know when one will be confronted. Forgot I was bitten by a cocker spaniel. Damn little dogs. Also came across a pit bull on the trail. Luckily he moved on.
Any dog not under the control of a human may be considered feral.
