good for him....I don’t want to work an 11 or 12 hour day to get four days off. I spend the first day or two recuperating and then can get things done. Just because he wants to work all of his life is fine. Just don’t insist that I do so also. I planned for retirement so I could do some of my hobbies and volunteer in my community.

I really hate how the oligarch class wnts to tell me how I should live

I would be willing to bet ‘ol Slim is up to his neck in the narco business. Personally I am sick of Gates, Buffett, Bloomberg, and now Slim telling the rest of us what we should do and how we should live. Screw em and their money.

The unspoken aspect of this idea is that while the workforce of the first 3-day week are at leisure, a second 3-day crew is hard at it. So there is only a one-day break per week for Senor Slim’s factory and longer, more onerous workdays for the stiffs.

and how old are you know?

I had no problems working double shifts even into my fifties. I could recover and still do a bang up job no problem. That has not been the case in my sixties. I can no longer do even a shift and a half. After too many work days and not enough time to recuperate I am slower at what I do... not as alert, don’t make the best decision always, and I get cranky.

OIf you are one of those type A people good on you.... not everyone is. Even when we were an agricultural society people hit an age where others took over and they did less and less in the fields

I work 12 hour rotating shifts. So this would be nothing new to me.
