By Yuan Ren 01 Jul 2014 Ever heard of yellow fever? No, not the disease you can pick up when travelling to certain countries. I'm talking about when Caucasian men develop an acute sexual preference for East Asian women – even becoming a fetish, for some.
Naturally, there are dating websites aplenty dedicated to 'serving' those men who have yellow fever, where the average East Asian women is increasingly being perceived as a desirable partner.
In fact, the most recent figures from 2.4 million users of Facebook dating apps showed a clear skew in preference for women of East Asian descent by men of all racial groups, except, ironically, Asian men.
As a Chinese, single woman in the UK - where I have rarely come across racism – my East Asian friends and I have encountered a fair share of men with telltale signs of yellow fever. But it's subtle, and of course, few would admit to surfing online dating sites for Chinese women, yet when the only girls they date are Chinese, then the probabilities are in their favor.
Having said that, I'm surprised at what British men, both young and old, generally get away with when talking about East Asian women (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc.) as well as South East Asian women (Vietnam, Thailand etc.)

Good answer. Although fortunately, I am happily out of the “game” having been married for 15 years, here’s my long answer version:
It is a tiny bit irksome how a certain segment of Anglo-American men deify Asian women as if they are all these dainty, submissive epitomes of femininity whose farts smell like potpourri.
It’s understandable if men are attracted to a certain type (I’ve always preferred 6-foot tall blond, blue-eyed men and that’s who I married). It’s also true that a large segment of women can be very strident about having their way. But I would say that about many Americans in general, not just women. American man are not without their fault. Many men lack basic gentlemanly manners, yet some expect women to act like prim and proper ladies all times. This belief that there are no decent American women who will be faithful, honorable and non-materialistic is baffling. In a nation of over 150,000,000 women of various ethnic, social, religious, and political groups there is going to be a lot of variety.
Women are women worldwide. Sometimes we get “bitchy”, most times we are loving and sweet. Such is the mellifluous nature of woman. If a man wants an unchanging female who will obey him her whole life long, get a dog and have her spayed. But if a woman is treated with love, decency and a little bit of appreciation, she will return her love tenfold (there are expections of course, but that is human nature).
I live in New York, a state vilified on this site for its strident Yankeeism, and yet my four sisters and I are all married, traditional, God-believing ladies (albeit I am the lone conservative). With us, there are no two faces; what you see is what you get. There’s no fakery. Being of Hispanic heritage might have something to do with this, :).

Nonsense. There are billions of Asian human beings worldwide, and you think all the women are beauties? That’s like saying there are no Asians with low IQs. It’s a numbers game. The more there of a people within a group, the more you’ll find people in subgroups.
Walk through Flushing, Queens or Chinatown in Manhattan one afternoon and you’ll see ugly, ordinary and pretty...in that order.

The kind of “Woman” these men want is a “Stepford wife”. That is not a woman but a robot. Then again men screw blow up dolls every day so who am I to judge? Don’t say that to be crude but to make a point. Men who want to have sex with robots are nothing more than robots themselves.

There is the idea that different ethnicities will be more attractive, just because they are different. What a Chinese might decide is an average looking Chinese woman is still fairly attractive to a white man, just because she’s a different ethnicity.
That's not true at all. I find 99% of black women to be ugly. Compare their large noses, lips, and butts along with their hair and body structure to Asian women and there is no contest. Some races ARE more attractive than others.
I would say anytime some uses the number 99%, when applying to another ethnicity or race, it’s really an indication of a person who just doesn’t know that many,people from that particular ethnicity or race.
I fail to see how someone “discriminates” against a particular population simply by virtue of not generally finding them sexually attractive. You have no right to be desired by others. People like what they like. I don’t particularly care for black girls or redheads, either. So what? If that bothers you for some reason, look inward, because you’re the one with the problem.
Every ethnicity is more attractive than the others to someone; it just depends on who is being asked. It’s totally subjective.
A lot of Hispanic women are beautiful and cute when they are young although they tend to be very short. They mature early and get old very easily and early. They also get very big when they get older due to their high-carb and low-fiber diet unless you are good enough to match a “Jennifer Lopez”.
Asian women age beautifully but probably don't have large busts unless they get implants. We tend to have much smaller bone structure and slender figures. With implants to enhance our figures, there is no doubt we are the best as a group at our middle age. We have figures that can easily compete with an average 30 year old white or Hispanic woman!
