Sarah Palin: “It’s Time to Impeach President Obama”
life news ^ | Steven Ertelt

y and isn’t a term thrown around casually by many elected officials or political pundits simply because a president takes an opposite position on a give political issue. While a good number of pro-life Americans probably want to see President Barack Obama impeached because of his lengthy pro-abortion record, impeachment as an actuality in the way President Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives hasn’t been a serious subject.

palin13Until now.

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, in an executive article written for Breitbart News, is calling for Obama’s impeachment.Although Palin is pro-life and diametrically opposed to Obama’s position on abortion, her reason is because of the flood of child immigrants illegally crossing the border.

“The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored,” Palin said in the op-ed in Breitbart News. “If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.”

“It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment,” she said.

Obama could cause more “irreparable harm” during his final years in office, she warned. “President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here. It’s not going to get better, and in fact irreparable harm can be done in this lame-duck term as he continues to make up his own laws as he goes along, and, mark my words, will next meddle in the U.S. Court System with appointments that will forever change the basic interpretation of our Constitution’s role in protecting our rights,” she says.

After all, Democrats control the Senate and even if the House were to somehow pass articles of impeachment, they would never be taken up in the upper chamber. And whether Obama would be impeached when the next presidential election is right around the corner is another question — since Americans will have the power of the ballot to voice their opposition. But Palin’s broadside could do something important — it could fire up the pro-life, conservative base at a time when Americans really aren’t terribly engaged in the mid-term elections. The pro-life community has an important opportunity to re-take the Senate from Harry Reid and his pro-abortion allies and pave the way for winning the White House in 2016. Both are crucial to reforming the Supreme Court and realizing legal protection for unborn children.

At many locations, members of the GOP and GOPe
are going after Gov.Palin from a combination
of misogyny, love for Obama politics,
and orders from Team Romney, McConnell and Rove.

Although I believe it’s time, it’s actually way past its time.

As much as I want him gone, I also want the idiots who voted for him to suffer more. Stupidity must hurt, or it will never be cured.

I know a Democrat that fervently supported him. Now she is unemployed and can’t find a job. She’s a decent person, single mother and very smart and hard worker (yes, these kinds of ill-informed Democrats still exist). She’s way overqualified for any jobs that are available, and she’s started paring back her resume just so that she can get some sort of income. She is beginning to see that everything she believed was hogwash.

This Democrat is not alone. A lot of working class Democrats are finally opening their eyes. The suffering needs to continue. Think of it as chemotherapy for the Marxist cancer infecting America.

I might know of one that may be seeing a little reality. It is a slow journey. However, I know of one that would vote for Stalin if he came back. Of course this one has risen high on the government pay trough and has what appears to be a cushy do nothing for life job.

Impeachment is past its time. Won’t happen before he leaves office, AND it will make the Obama-lovers cohesive in their ‘victimhood.’ We need to fill the House and fill the Senate so he is hog-tied and stopped legitimately, and we need to take the White House in 2016 with someone who appeals to people who love their country.

Impeachment - I’d love to see it, but frankly I believe it will backfire and it’s too little/ too late.

As much as Obama deserves impeachment; I think he’d love to have Republicans start talking about it. There is no way the Senate - even under the most optimistic November election predictions - will ever have enough votes to convict him.
Therefore, talk of it would only serve to fire up his base to come out in November to protect him - potentially minimizing the gains we might otherwise expect.

Therefore, efforts are best focused on the election, IMO.
