More allegations of wrongdoing plague the VA across the country Tuesday. A new report from an Oklahoma senator says that the death toll related to VA mistakes over the past decade could be over 1000.
Some are wondering if Congress is to blame for failing to take action earlier. If you ask Congress, the answer is no. A lot of what's been going on had been covered up by the VA in some way due to fear of backlash, and you can't fix something if you don't know it's broken.
Senator Cobun's (R-OK) report blames VA mistakes mixed with improper use of funds in the resulting deaths. In the meantime, the Office of Special Counsel is finding what are called "ghost clinics." Essentially, veterans were issued appointments for care without an assigned provider and would end up leaving the clinics without receiving any treatment.

The false reporting of the lists was linked to bonus payments to VA execs.
Sounds like a FELONY.
Surely there are some (Republican or the rare Democrat) prosecutors looking to make national headlines here. Be a political career maker.
How can they be blamed? After bailing out their cronies and bonuses and massively increasing aid to help non gay countries become gay, there was no money left. It is the fault of the taxpayer because they are selfish pigs that refuse to pay more to help the people that kept them free.
On one hand the VA murders Vets. On the other the executives in the VA get bonuses for the crimes. Yet again...homeland “security” is bringing illegal aliens into the USA. Are Clown Prince nobama, his commie minions and the congress who put up with this treachery proud of them selves? Criminals all!
Every time I see a picture of him sitting in the oval office I’m reminded to never again speak to anyone that I know voted for him.

Some VA health care providers have lost their medical licenses, but the VA hides that information from patients.
In the stunning case of the police chief, Richard Meltz, head of security at the Bedford VA Medical Center, pleaded guilty in January to involvement in what the FBI called “two sadistic kidnapping, rape and murder conspiracies.” Meltz advised two others on how to avoid being tracked, such as not using toll roads, and where to dump bodies, according to the FBI.
