The Oprah Winfrey Network is set to begin production on a documentary series surrounding Michael Sam, a plan that Sam and his representatives knew about before the draft. The problem? The latter group didn’t disclose that fact to the St. Louis Rams or other teams.
Per ESPN’s Ed Werder, Sam and Co. didn’t disclose their OWN documentary plans to teams ahead of the draft out of fear that he “might not be picked.” St. Louis scooped up Sam at pick No. 249 overall.

I just read about Vito's grandpa. I don't think the family is at all pleased with Vito's choice of "lifestyle."
I do get Orca channel but like you said she is on a higher tier of channels and I have never bother to look at her channel even on Comcast on Demand.
1. The televised (and choreographed, IMO) kiss on another man.
2. Whining about not being drafted in the first three rounds.
3. Not telling the team that drafted him about the fact Oprah Winfrey will be doing a “reality show” about him, much of the video footage which will very likely be shot at the Rams’ training facilities.
But.. somehow.. Sam only wants to be judged on his performance on the field and “nothing else.”
Having grown up hating the L.A. and later StL Rams, I am finding this more laughable than anything else. The Rams thought they would win some easy “progressive” points. What they have is a drama queen that they’ll never be rid of.
Everything happened too quickly to to be pure chance.
I’d be interested in learning the football fates of previous draft picks that were # 249 on the board.
It’s too easy to guess that most of them don’t even make their team....Any NFL savants out there that know the answer?
You know that if he’s cut...there will be an outcry and someone will have to dig up the previous fates of #249 picks to make sure there is no discrimination
Will offensive linemen be charged with being mean & homophobic for doing their jobs?

We may disagree with his gayness but it’s a free country.
He’s already got a nice Visa Card deal too.

Without the gayness he’s just be another undrafted free agent on his way to a life of selling insurance or used cars.

and a Human Rights amendment to the Constitution. Their own special class.
Apparently Jeff Fischer missed the memo. He told reporters that once training camp starts Sam will be unavailable to the media. Unless Oprah is not considered media.
