Did that just come out? I saw the previews and wanted to see it. I want to see Draft Day too. Has anyone seen that one?

Draft day is ok. Costner does sports well. The nfl cooperated and the film looks like it’s really in the actual situation.

Not academy award material but good for the topic.

It is not a feel good movie, but it is a great performance and a true story.

I saw a preview while seeing God’s Not Dead. It looks boring. I am not really a Colin Firth or Nicole Kidman fan either.

It’s a Weinstein Company film.

Read the book instead. It’s probably better anyway.

Isn’t that the movie that chronicles how the Cleveland Browns became the greatest NFL franchise in the history of the NFL?

That would fall under the category of fantasy, would it not?

I saw The Bridge on the River Kwai when I was 8 yrs old
and read the book at least twice. The movie is still among
my favorites. As a WWII paratrooper my dad fought the
Japanese in the mountain jungles of Leyte so I have always
had an interest in this type of film. I will check out this movie.

If it was made in this country, it would be called The Railroad Man.

If you like that type of film, you would like Three Came Home (1949).

No idea.
I guess it is for portraying true violence.
