Miley Cyrus faces long recovery from 'extreme allergic reaction'

"Miley Cyrus could be in celebrity sick bay for another three weeks because of an "extreme allergic reaction" to an antibiotic, her representative said Thursday."

"Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour in N.C. a week ago. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin which she has now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to," the statement said. "This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases."

Cephalexin for a sinus infection? Does she have anthrax or TB in her nose? That’s a pretty heavy-duty antibiotic for some boogers, ain’t it?

I once had a really bad sinus infection. This was around 1986. The Dr. tried Streptomycin and it didn’t work, then Cephalexin and it didn’t work. He then did a culture and next was Penicillin. Within two days I was practically well.

I could not believe how much more effective the penicillin was.

I doubt it's an allergic reaction, but Cephalexin can have pretty nasty side-effects because it can work too well. I kills all the germs, even the good ones, and that can lead to pretty bad secondary infections. A girl I once knew told me every time she takes it she gets a bad yeast infection.

The garbage she is peddling is disgusting, and she knows what she is doing. And to think this "lady" made over $75 Million last year! American has gone to Sodom.

The movie stars of yesteryear seem to grow more beautiful in comparison to the weird things that the entertainment industry peddles these days. For instance, Hedy Lamarr was beautiful. The "stars" of today don't hold a candle to this kind of beauty.

Im allergic to Penicillin so I have taken Keflex a few times..never have I taken it to treat a sinus infection..maybe she’s allergic to Penicillin and can’t take anything else but usually Keflex is NOT used to treat a sinus infection so my BS meter went up when I heard this story..but either way, could care less because frankly, I can’t stand her

Every now and then I watch a few minutes of movies made from the 30’s to the 50’s and I marvel at the jaw dropping beauty of the women who star in them. For now, Miley and Beauty are not logical in the same sentence.
