'Love & Hip Hop' Sex Tape Cripples Home Depot -- NATIONAL SHOWER ROD SHORTAGE

Demand is going through the roof for gymnastics-strength shower rods -- all thanks to "Love & Hip Hop" star Mimi Faust's sex tape acrobatics -- and Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, and Walmart are struggling to keep up.

We called employees at each of the major retailers (from Georgia to Cali) and we're getting the same story -- ever since the trailer for Mimi's sex tape came out, people have been racing to purchase their own super-strong shower rods to recreate the Mimi experience.

And supplies are running out -- a customer at one Home Depot in Georgia tells us, they were totally sold out of Mimi-strength shower rods.

This is a real thing -- a Twitter search for "Mimi shower rod" shows an endless list of people trying to get their hands on one. There's even a Twitter account dedicated to it (@MimiShowerRod). And don't even get us started on the Vine videos.

We reached out to officials at Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, and Target -- no word back so far.

At first I thought it was a fair term, given that the real 'Tea Party' was advocating violence and war, and the present American 'Tea Party' was advocating peaceful change. So 'Tea baggers' seemed to have some 'civil' connotation, which seemed fair. But then given all the smirks and giggles from the Sodomite loving Press, I got the impression it had another meaning. Again, something I was not interested in finding out -- but left wondering why in the heck these Media talking heads knew such things? They hang around a bunch of depraved perverts, and they end up being depraved perverts...

I didn’t know about this, but I have wondered why shower rods don’t double as gripping (handicapped) bars.

It seems silly to have a rod fixed there, yet it is useless as a stabilizing bar to enter and get out of the tub.

When you read these articles and don't recognize the names of the "celebrities" involved or what perversity they are supposed to have done, you are doing something right with your life. I suspect many of us on FR have that going for us.
