Today I was listening to Dennis Prager's show during lunch and he kept saying how hated the Jews are that so many countries in the world wish to exterminate Israel, and have wished to throughout all of history.
He would keep saying, I'll tell you after this commercial break why I think the Jews are so hated. Then he would go on talking some more about why there were so hated.
At 1:50, I had to be back at my office, and he still hadn't stated why he believes the Jews are so hated. Did anyone listen to the end of his show today to see if he ever gave what he thinks the reason is?
Really, haters gonna hate. Jews had no homeland till Israel. So they were not “native” to any one country. As soon as something goes wrong folks are gonna point fingers. And they are not gonna point fingers at themselves. Gotta have a scapegoat.
I don't have a lot of experience dealing with Jews. In my small Southern town the only Jews emigrated from, mostly, New York years ago. Goldberg's and extended family mostly. There is no synagogue here, closest is in Birmingham.
But, I can see where, if you didn't get to know them, that they would be easy to dislike. Maybe cause they are Yankees, maybe cause they are Jews. Heck, maybe both. But once you get to know them, and more importantly, once they get to know you, they are great folks and a lot of fun to be around and funny (to me) and fun to party with.
One of the old ladies (dead now) was one of my special friends. She and her husband both. When I first got to know them I thought Good God! They bitched at each other, ordered each other around (her mostly), ordered me around, nothing was good enough....etc. etc. But after the initial shock you realized that she was just playing you and enjoyed nothing more than you giving it right back to her.
Anyway, with my limited experience, I've found that Jewish folks take a little time to warm up to. And they to you. And a lot of people just don't take the time....
Well, my little rant is sure not gonna cure antisemitism. Just a couple of observations.
I didn't use to think like that...But I've seen too many people that just have an overt hatred of Jews..that has no basis in logic.
I read an article within the last two years that said statistically, Jewish people have IQ’s around 115, Asians and Caucasians around 110. It goes down hill from there.
If you want to know why they think they should, read the Merchant of Venice by W. Shakespeare.
Dennis is usually pretty lucid, and he always promotes 'clarity' over all else.
He must have been having an off day.
The answer?
Simple. Success envy.

I don’t know if he was trying to get listeners to keep listen on until the end of his show, or just wanted to hear all the opinions before he gave his. So I don’t know what he said in his last 10 minutes. Was kind of annoying trying to listen though.
Failures ALWAYS need a scapegoat. Communism fails because of America. Cuba sucks because of America. North Korea sucks because of America. The middle east sucks because of Jews and America. Before America, it was the Jews.
European hatred against Jews is jealousy - pure and simple. Jews are not afraid of work and dedication.
Muslims hate Jews because of Jewish laws - lineage is determined by the mother, Jews take care of their elderly, and Jews teach the 10 Commandments. Muslims HATE Jewish law.
He runs the "Prager University", a virtual institute of higher conservative learning. All the courses are five minutes, LOL, and are taught by well-known guest conservative brains.

Unfortunately Jews happened to become the natural bankers for Christians and Muslims for about 1,000 years because it was religiously forbidden to commit the sin of usury (charging interest on loans) and so only Jews had the incentive to loan money.
The Papacy made clear that making interest on loans was a heresy that warranted excommunication. Mohammed explicitly forbade it.
Unsurprisingly, all kinds of other stereotypes about Jews emerged from this period.
My Mom couldn’t stand Mrs. Goldberg. She’s kinda an old traditional Southern lady. Reserved. Quiet. “Genteel” I guess you would say. Mrs. Goldberg was entirely the opposite. She had no filter on her mouth. They were like oil and water.
But I promise, just because Mom couldn’t stand Mrs. Goldberg doesn’t mean she’s antisemitic. I don’t think.....
To add, the Torah apparently permits Jews to loan money with interest to Gentiles, but not to fellow Jews. So a disproportionate number of the Jewish diaspora eventually became urbanites centred on finance and specialized crafts.
If you go to Dennis Prager . com website they play the most recent show in a constant loop. Todays show was a repeat since as a jew Prager had this day off.
That's because in pagan lands they were largely killed of.
I once heard Prager - or someone on his show - say that the reason for Jew hatred throughout history is that even their haters know the Jews were the Chosen of God.

Actually, Jews are far more widely known as embracing socialism. Ever hear of kibbutzim?
European socialism was pretty much created by Jews, and most certainly was applauded by Jews.
It’s one of the reasons Jews tend to flock to the Dims.
Never made any sense to me, given their respect for education.
