LOL... I had a Siamese like that once. She had to be touching me all the time. It drove me nuts. I would push her away and she’d be right back... push her away again... until finally she would put out her paw and touch me with that.

And I just remembered the breed that I misremembered as Abyssinian: Balinese. They’ve got dark points like a Siamese but with a little longer coat. But I do agree this guy is probably a Siamese.

He may have been overdubbing a second solo over an existing solo track, so when he dropped out you still heard the original playing. That’s a fairly common recording technique called “doubling”. But for some reason the video won’t play for me now so I can’t say for sure.
