You're too late.

For years Freepers (or FBI plants?) have been posting threads asking us who are our favorite bands, what are our favorite colors, movies, action heros, scotches, etc.

We've already been demographically sliced, diced, filed, and sorted.

When they come for me they can lure me out of my home with a hotdog smothered in peanut butter.

Yum!

Something I’ve used for various showers and other events as an hors d’ouvres that everyone likes:

A piece of Danish sliced ham spread with cream cheese (I use lite) with an asparagus spear rolled up. I’ve also had it with a pickle in place of the asparagus and it’s pretty good, too.

When my sister and I were young and didn’t feel well, we’d ask Mom to make us spaghetti with scrambled eggs. Doesn’t sound great, but we used to really enjoy it.

Take cooked spaghetti, put it in a pan with a little butter and scramble an egg (or 2 - depending how much spaghetti one has) and a little milk.

“Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches...”

Sounds good to me. And nice and fattening which I need.

The new tiny “health conscious” bottles of soda would be amenable to the peanut treatment I suppose.

Celery filled with PB or Cheese Whiz or something similar was a grade school lunch staple. Put raisins on it and you had what the lunch ladies called ants on a log.

I was too squeamish to eat lunch room pizza, though. I begged not to have to waste it, but no choice.

Ugh. I remember that. I think it was popularized by Elvis Presley. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches I like. Mayo and banana, slimy, flavors don’t sit well together to me. PBM is just disgusting.

individual size glass bottles, which are not very easily found in most locations.

Look for someplace that sells "Mexican" Coca Cola; they come in small glass bottles -- using real sugar instead of whatever Americanese Coke has.

Our local Walmart carries it -- but we've got a ton of Mexicans in the area.

Ooh, if you are going for the calories, might as well make it first class. Make it worth the walking to exercise those pounds back off.

Herbal digestif

So that explains what happened to me after I had two "Oatmeal Cookies".

Heck, that’s an Italian dessert! They use pecorino (dolce, not the hard stuff) with honey or balsamic glaze. Fantastic.

It doesn’t work in cans, something about it, salt probably, really kicks in a metallic taste.

When other kids were eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I was eating peanut butter and sweet pickles (mom’s home made); I haven’t really found any commercial sweet pickles as good a mom’s to recreate that sandwich.

I also ate miracle whip and pickle relish sandwiches; no meat or cheese, just miracle whip and pickle relish on bread.

I mean I’ve never had occasion to try Jagermeister but the description calls to mind something you’d get by whirling vodka and Vicks Vaporub in a blender.

And, when he didn’t have to cook it, bacon was added.
