All 3 were progressives but Nixon isn’t in the same league as Barack Wilson.

Yes, Woodrow Wilson was far worse than Nixon, but these days hardly anyone has even heard of him. History is no longer taught.

Presidents aren't thugs.

They employ thugs.

Surprising, though, that Johnson and Truman didn't make the list.

Thank you for referencing that poll dynachrome. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the poll and not at you.

Probably a majority of presidents, including Reagan, have wrongly ignored the federal government's constitutionally limited powers.

However, citizens need to quit blaming presidents and get a grip on the Constitution's simple rules in order to prevent corrupt politicians from tricking citizens to abuse their voting power.

Obama is close hard but Wilson still wins it. Obama has OFA and Wilson had the klan. Wilson brought in psychologists and media to manipulate the public with the Committee on public information (Creel Commission). Wilson had people spying and reporting on their neighbors to the extent that people in public spoke in hushed voices about their opposition to Wilson out of fear of being arrested.

Almost every tactic we see employed by progressives today were used during Wilson’s progressive era. I wish people would educate themselves so they would learn recognize it and refuse to play along.

Excellent point. Nothing would make me happier than a candidate who ran on the promise of restricting his own power.
