Banoosh ^ | April 3, 2014 | Mr Z

Many of us choose what we eat very carefully, or at least dedicate our minimum attention to it. But when it comes to drinks, especially alcoholic beverages, we do little to make the best decisions for our health. Which is a HUGE mistake.

All the work for your body can be ruined in a weekend out. While foods and non alcoholic beverages are required to list their ingredients and are monitored by the FDA, beer does not belong in either.

Alcohol industry had lobbied for years to avoid labeling its ingredients. Some to protect its recipes, but most – to hide harmful ingredients.

Share This with Fellow Beer Drinkers

It’s important to expose companies that use harmful ingredients in our products. This information is hidden from the public with millions of dollars of false advertising, laws, etc. You can always vote with your money. As this information about GMO beers spreads, we will see a decrease in production of these beers and the companies may eliminate the harmful ingredients altogether. Most importantly, when you hang out with your friends, you will be able to share beer that’s more delicious and healthier.

What the f--k is a Banoosh?

If I drink 4 Guinness a week, that would total 95% of my high fructose corn syrup. I think I will be OK...

Budweiser does not contain corn. Rice is used in it’s recipe.

Most of the beer they are writing about is mass produced pisswater.

But, stop telling me what I can like and what I can’t.

I don’t drink beer much anymore, unless its a hot summer day at a barbecue.

About 10 years ago I was at Disney and had a couple of ZAMBEZIS

Woke up in the middle of the night thinking I was back in NYC and needed to double park the car due to alternate side of the street cleaning

Q: 99 bottles of beer on the wall and I should only drink how many? There is no answer because it’s none of anybody’s damned business!

Guinness is out for me, but not because of fish bladders or HFCS—because of the ridiculous St. Pat’s stunt this year.

The page recommends Heineken. I recommend against, for the same reasons given as for Guinness.

Never mind that site’s left-wing sources (Greenpeace? They’re terrorists).

I’ll pass on the waring, I’d rather die happy but I don’t drink any type of Budwiser just because it’s nasty anyway.

All the opposition to GMO foods and high fructose corn syrup is leftist crap. There is NOTHING wrong with either.

San Miguel is the only common beer where I live. I buy a case every two days for our small expat beach gathering each afternoon. It is considered to be a good beer. I am pretty much a wino, but I do have a few beers per day.

Is this ignoramus not intelligent enough to know that almost every food he eats is GMO’d at some point. Most people that use their head for something beside a hat rack call it plant breeding.

This article reminded me to go out and buy a six pack of a beer I have not drank for years; Anchor Steam.
