CHICAGO (CBS) — If somebody told you that Indianapolis has seen more murders than Chicago in the past few days, would you believe it?
It’s true. Way more.

That's WAY more important then the actions of some Bammy supporters.

41 is fewer than 62, regardless of the relative populations of the two cities. The fact remains that 41 homicides is a slow month in Chicago most of the time. :’) Thanks digger48.
uh, I live here and no it isn’t. Holders people are killing each other, and others, at and alarming rate.
Eastside and Westside crime are rampant here, but it is for a reason.
Bad guy on bad guy crime? Likely a gang war over territory.
It’s a matter of rate. Chicago has around 2.8 million people within city limits while Indy has fewer than 850,000. The murder rate in Indy spiked last year and appears to be spiking even higher this year, indicating that an already-bad murder situation is becoming even worse.
It’s not a good sign.
The majority is black on black, black on hispanic, hispanic on black. I live in 50/50 area. Black and white get along pretty good.
White folks get preyed on by the bad elements of each and white folks, however not as much, pick on each other.
This may be how it is in many places.

A little of everything from random shootings to drive-bys to gang related. A cop friend of ours posts incidents. True though, most of it is bad guy on bad guy.
One thing he points out is that it isn’t even summer yet. Wait till the temps heat up!
That’s how it is throughout the US.
The random shootings are a real tragedy. Otherwise it’s just smart to stay away from those areas. Not much good happens after 10PM.
So far, we haven’t had the knockout thing happening here. I suppose it could happen in the downtown or inner city area, but it hasn’t happened yet.
We have a very big hispanic crowd here now. Black people and hispanics do not always get along. Especially in the hood areas. Gang stuff, drugs and territory, I presume.
The NRA convention will be there this year.
I’m betting that that’s why this was put out by cBS.
Blacks hate Latinos and vice versa. They never get along in Chicago. I’ll tell you a funny story. A Latino couple is getting their cable service fixed. A black guy shows up and the wife says in Spanish, “They sent a black [more derogatory, but I won’t write it] and he’ll just mess it up.” The black service tech answers in Spanish, “I’m not black I am Dominican and I’ll fix it right.”
Regarding the knock-out game, aren’t Indianapolians (sic) armed?
Don’t worry, spring is here, and the bangers will be out banging away soon. Chicago will get those numbers up this summer.

Oh yeah, the left has been trying to disarm us, so far, we are holding.
Are they really random? Or is it because Snooky the drug dealer and his crew are spotted at a party by a cousin of Phat Dog, a rival drug dealer and calls him on his obama phone. Phat dog and his homies then jump into their hoopties and head on out to the party with the intent of taking out the competition.
After the shooting is over, all you read about in the paper is that there was a random shooting at a party, because no one will talk to the po po, because "Snitches Get Stitches".
