Officials Say Meningitis Kills 3 LA County Residents, Poses Higher Risk For Gay Community

Three of eight people who contracted bacterial meningitis this year have died, and all three had sex with other men, Los Angeles County health officials said Thursday.
The confirmation came a day after the Department of Public Health urged gay men who had HIV or multiple partners to be vaccinated against invasive meningococcal disease.

New York’s Meningococcus Scare: Outbreak in Gay Community Nature has a way of cleansing itself. AIDs didn't work fast enough. Nature came up with something much faster this time.

How descriptiveAccording to another article I read about the outbreak in NY, this is a new fast working strain. They don't even have a name for it yet. They're giving homos a regular meningitis shot to try to combat it. My guess is eventually those older medicines will stop working, too.
The homosexuals can't declare war on mother nature and expect to win.

According to another article I read about the outbreak in NY, this is a new fast working strain. They don't even have a name for it yet. Maybe I'm out of the loop on this story, but it seems that only a handful of homosexual men have fallen seriously ill from this so far. Is there more happening than the "news" is telling us? Seriously, I want to know.
