MLB has a 162 game schedule, playoffs are five or seven games, games are nine innings. A blown call that decides a game under these conditions, where the teams have proven evenly matched, is no different than any other random chance; a grounder hitting a base, a pulled hamstring, sun in a fielder’s eyes, etc.
Good idea. Women’s volleyball is much more entertaining than baseball.
