I did not see anything that tells me Tiger is using PEDs

IF anything, it is all the other guys are using peds.

I say that because when Tiger was a skinny 20 year kid, he was winning because he was 30 yards longer than every one else.

Everyone else caught up and passed Woods in length, the only problem is Woods developed a phenomenal short game, the best short game anyone has ever seen at any time.

He would hole out chip after chip, make every putt inside of 12 feet, never three putt, and his lags were usually inches from going in.

Check out the Woods career, as a skinny kid he was longer than everyone, then everyone got as long as he was, then he had the best short game by a long shot ever, then there was the Wife chasing him with a golf club and that is when woods started losing.

The says he is clean and it is likely the other guys are dirty because his long game is actually maybe less long than it used to be but the short game became phenomenal.

That says he is not on peds, he is on some kind of mental peds if anything.

Woods has always been an arrogant creep that screams and hollers and cusses on the golf course if things are not going his way. He has no class whatsover and this was before he started having all the injuries. All the whoring around with porno stars probably gave him syphilis that has settled into his bones. I watch golf when’s not in the field. Can’t stand him and the idol worship surrounding this character.

The grand slam is winning all four majors in the same year. Tiger Woods won the US Open, the British Open and the PGA in 2000. He didn’t win the 2000 Masters.

So the question is, if you’re captain Tom Watson, do you use a captain’s pick on Tiger?
Why waste it on a proven Ryder Cup loser? From 2012 ... Tiger goes winless -- and irrelevant -- at Ryder CupNot even surgery can fix that.

I’m sure you’re correct that others on tour might be using. We KNOW Vijay did and we know others have gotten an exemption for low testosterone.

If you think Tiger is clean, that’s great. With all the great sports medicine doctors in this country and top orthopedic surgeons here in the USA, why go to Galea in Canada? He has a rep among athletes as a fixer and HgH is legal in Canada as are other PEDs.

I’m sure you both thought that Lance was clean , Major League Baseball players were, as are participants in tennis, soccer, boxing, MMA, wrestlers, actors, Olympians and the NBA.

Ever wonder how a wide receiver in the NFL can be 6’5”, 235 and run a 4:35 40 yard dash. How a thirty year old tennis player like Serena can look like a fullback and add lean muscle mass when most women can’t do a pull-up.

PEDs don’t make those muscles but allows you the recovery time to work harder than the next person without the fatigue. Depending on what you’re taking it counteracts the effects of jet lag and makes you mentally alert and aggressive. It also allows you to efficiently train to add muscle mass if you follow some dietary guidelines.

The problem is it has long term effects on you liver, sperm, brain, connective tissue/ligaments/tendons and your normal hormonal balance. Nothing is free, your body always tries to become homeostatic even with the PEDs, but a lot of the long term ramifications aren’t known because its very hard to do long term double blind studies with these drugs.

I like sports as much as the next fellow. The performance is great, but that’s what it’s become. Entertainment and performance. The PEDs just allow the performing artists to do more elaborate and weekly reproducible performances. No big deal, it’s like finding out actors wear makeup to look better on camera and aren’t as beautiful as you thought they were.

I have watched woods over the years and he does not hit the ball any farther than when he was 18 years old which is unlike Bonds and McGuire. What was amazing was the short game. Then after the marriage crack up, his short game went south. That just does not sound like peds to me.

Before the marriage blow up, Woods had the most phenomenal short game anyone has ever seen.

The other thing woods did was destroy the other guy mentally.

All you have to do is check out players scoring averages when playing with and with out woods. I just don’t think that taking peds allows you to mess up someones head.

It is more like woods has been taking “smart pills” or something.

I appreciate your clarity and manners....I still hold to the opinion Woods never drugged...yes he cycled blood but that is different....moreover Woods has IN FACT willingly surrendered many blood samples, many.

people, including myself dislike (hate, as you put it)Tiger Woods because he is overhyped - not over rated.
I am 63 and have been following golf most of my life.
In my opinion, he is certainly as good as anyone who has ever teed it up, but the media adulation he gets is a turn off to me.

I'm not sure I got your point? Could you tell me how you really feel? ;^ )

See I totally accept that Woods chaps you, I just don't get the idolization or demonization of sports figures. It's not that I'm above having negative opinions or downright hatred for some people but, I try to stick with people that can actually affect me. With a sports figure all I have to do is turn off the radio or TV and that's that, where as a politician like zero can actually screw with my life.

The blood samples donated to USADA is a nice gesture but the tests will be negative. The testosterone and epogen can clear out in hours. They might be able to pick up metabolites and precursor hormones but its unlikely without baseline testing He can or could take it at night when he went to bed and be cleared out by the morning depending on formulations and the manner in which he cycled or used Masking agents. If USADA has blood samples they might pick up something but I doubt it. Most of the pros and their teams actually test them and figure out how quickly they clear in order to not test positive during “in competition” testing. It can be calculated down to the hour in some cases.

Like I said, I don’t think he’s using now and that might be the reason for the decline. It was NOT illegal for PGA pros to use prior to 2008. He knows that he will be the most scrutinized and may be trying to win based on talent alone, but he’s now unable to psychologically hold up in the later rounds. That’s what I’ve noticed is that he’s weaker on the weekends.

The psychological advantage can be enhanced with Nuvigil or Provigil in order to combat the jet lag and also to help with “focus”. It’s not all amphetamines and testosterone. It’s an entire training method that include a buffet of meds and methods. Testosterone, HgH, Clomid, insulin, Lasix, epogen, provigil and then dietary discipline associated with speed training, weights and flexibility. Think about the grind of travel, exercising, practice on the range, hours playing practice rounds walking the course and playing, the business obligations/appearances and finally just living your life with your wife and kids. Only 24 hours in a day and something has to give.

It doesn’t matter to me what these guys do to their bodies. It’s just entertainment and makes for interesting conversation. They are actually performing a service by testing these substances but not in a manner that can be quantified unfortunately.

“I don’t think he’s using now and that might be the reason for the decline”

The decline was dramatic and precipitous immediately after the marriage crack up.

And the real decline comes in the short game where he is now only in the top 10 in the short game whereas before he was about 2 standard deviations ahead of anyone who ever played.

I’ve never heard of any drug that improves your putting.

Woods decline is in his head more than anything else.

I’m sure he is well aware of that, but just can’t shake it.
