I don’t think the bacon would get cooked enough during the time that the rolls bake. It would be better if you crisped up the bacon a little before wrapping it in dough.

It doesn’t show the creator being carted off in a large wheelbarrow.

Bacon Cinnamon Rolls
http://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/bacon-cinnamon-rolls/be89e9ab-8ca3-49c7-a467-4cad1eab5776

Ingredients
10 slices bacon
1 can (17.5 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® refrigerated cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing (5 rolls)

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease or spray 8- or 9-inch round pan.

Separate dough into 5 rolls. Unroll rolls.

Cook bacon until crisp. While bacon is still warm, place 2 slices bacon on top of 1 unrolled roll; roll back up.

Repeat to use up rolls and bacon. Place cinnamon rolls in pan.

Bake 25 to 29 minutes or until golden brown.

Spread with icing; serve warm.

Yes.

The trouble would be not eating all the bacon prior to placing it in the roll.

After all, it is bacon.

I don’t think the bacon would get cooked enough during the time that the rolls bake.

My mom used to pour a little batter in the waffle iron, then three strips bacon, then more batter. We never died from eating them, and the bacon wasn't always cooked that great.

Yeah, I was wondering how that would work.

It’s not like you can just cook bacon and pile it up without eating it.

So 2 lbs of bacon needed to place 1 lb in the rolls?

Or should that be 3 to 1?

I use to make bacon waffles for my kids. The Magnolia Pancake House makes them.

It is one of Gods great creations.

I’d have to run a few exercises to determine the ratio.

I do know that I’ve never been able to pile up any significant amount.

Like displaying my snowball collection on a car hood in August.

By the time I set out number three, the first two are gone.

Despite having eaten a big bowl of chili for lunch, I am now hungry for bacon waffles, bacon cinnamon rolls, and since I have some dipping chocolate, perhaps some chocolate covered bacon.
