As I have said eariler in the thread, yesterday, Auburn to use the title of a hit song from year, simply “got lucky” during the season and in the Iron Bowl to land in the championship.
Looking forward to seeing college football, starting next season not only transition to a playoff system, but in time, have a “bracket system” just like college b-ball during March Madness.

Florida State was just good enough last night to beat Auburn for the National Championship. Two quarters of “C game” football followed by two quarters of “A game” football was all it took.
I’ll readily admit that FSU was outplayed and outcoached in the first half. But, when it counted, Auburn couldn’t answer the bell — FSU outplayed Auburn in the second half, and the FSU coaches outcoached Auburn.
Like every proud FSU graduate/fan, I hoped for four quarters of “A game” football, but didn’t get it.
BUT, FSU WON AND AUBURN LOST!

Not trashing FSU, but their quarterback is another story. I don’t like thugs that think they are above the law, no matter what color they are. If it’s ever proven that information was covered up so he could play the title will be vacated.
You know, in the USA, a person is considered innocent until proven guilty. Your trashing of Winston is uncalled for and way premature!
